  1. Holy bejesus!!!!!!!!! That header is $5100 for SS or $6400 for titanium!!!!!!! The one in the second picture.
  2. I'm no expert on this stuff, but it looks like on the second pipe the exhaust will cross through from one bank to the other. In other words it looks as if the exgaust from one bank will "crash" into the exhaust from the other bank. I would think that would kill your power, especially in the upper RPM rang where exhaust pulses will be shorter. I like the first one better. I would think the area where both pipes bend and are joined together would help equalize exhaust pulses and help your power in the upper RPM. Just my thoughts, but I could be way off. I am very interested in what you find out about this.
  3. I've had lots of tickets inmy day and NEVER has the officer been interested in saving time. If they cuff the driver, they will put him in the police car, of which is most always parked behind the rear of the car where they can just as easily read the rear plate.
  4. Maybe I am a selfish dick, but I usaually tell them before they get thier whole pethetic story out Sorry dude, but I can't help you. I have a job that I got on my own, a house I bought on my own and a house payment I make on my own. The food in my house I bought with the money I EARNED form either my full time day job, my part time night job or other money I EARNED through side jobs or cashing legally attained scrap metal. Sometimes people really do need some help. Unfortunatly for them there are too many other people that are lazy liars who would rather scam people than go out and solve thier own problems.

  8. I was flipping through an older Jegs book and found a BBK chrome headers with Y-pipe for $369.99 and a Flowmaster catback for $365.99. While I realize this may be about $150.00 more than you want to spend, but it's all new from the engine to the tail pipes. Just another option to look at. This book doesn't have the hooker cat back it. I feel the aero chamber is the better muffler to use. IMO.
  9. It really does pay for itself to have a good tuner to tune your car. There are some shops with dyno's that are learning how to use thier equipment with your car. Sometimes it works and other times...well I'm sure we all know what happens. Take it from a guy with bad dyno experiences in his past, it really hurts to see your engine puke on the dyno.

  12. I just remembered something. PM GTPLS1, he has a 98 T/A that has coated pacesetter headers w/ ORY and a LM1 he wants to trade for stock stuff. He's out of town right now but I may be able to get it all off for you. Plus i do have a set of coated yet rusty Pacesetter LT with the ORY (sold it to GTPLS1) that I would be happy to sell to you.
  13. FWIW, I am running Hooker LT coated, Hooker ORY and a hooker 3" in and single 3" out muffler. I did it that way because I previously had a Flowmaster 3 in/dual 3 out. When my flowmaster rotted out again (i had 3 of them on the car) I wanted a different sound and something that flowed better. The hooker aero chamber has a melow tone at idle and a good bark when you get on it, especially if you have a good cam/head setup. The headers I bought used for a steal. I had pacsetter on before. The rotted out so bad the O2's fell into the colector. I would NOT recomend pacesetter. IMO. They are inexpensive and you get what you pay for. My advice, and only as advice, save up for a great exhaust system. Put it on once and leave it be till you want something different. Again, this is all IMO and only for friendly advice.
  14. Do you really need all four O2's and the MAF replaced? I do have a MAF, but IDK about the O2's. I will have to look.

  19. Everything is fixable. Take it to a trans shop and have them run a diag on it. Maybe a lock up solonoid??? You know I'm not the greatest with the internals of an automatic trans. That's why I always go to Hardshift.

  21. I wasn't talking to you, but that's cool. I'm pretty sure if you and I were to go for cash it hurt a lot less if I just handed you the money and came up with a lame excuse why I couldn't go. :lolguy:
