  1. Are you required to have SA rated or would M be enough? If you can go with M (assuming all you're going to be using is at the drag strip) then you can cut that price in half
  2. lol probably not. It's slower because of the flower holder: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/187/454904640_7f6833eab1_o.jpg
  3. 35mm will always be at $200 Cannon has their 50mm f/1.8 at like 100, but it feels like plastic
  4. Hopefully everything is going in the right direction. Sorry to hear this, stay strong.
  5. Not really, Nikon beats Canon when it comes to lens, MUCH better quality. Even canon people will admit this. Anyways, get into prime lens. Since you're on a crop body, the 35mm f/1.8 is an awesome lens. So crisp and it's just a sweet walk-around lens. The 18-55 usually is never on anymore because of it.
  6. I have a Nikon D3100. Originally, I got the body and kit lens for $475. Bought a 35mm f/1.8 for $200 and a 50-200 f/4-5.6 for $100. With memory cards, and filters add another $100. Total investment - 875.

  9. UGR Lambo needs to come to Ohio Mile so I can watch.
  10. I got an interesting email from S&W when I contacted them about removing the External Safety Looks like it'll stay on
  11. Good Idea? I have a M&P40c that has an external thumb safety that I want to remove. Since this gun will become my CCW, I feel that a thumb safety (even if I keep it off) might, by accident, flip on if SHTF. It looks pretty darn easy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AmsNZ4OwJE I already ordered plugs to cover up the holes. As I read, this is standard on all of the models that are NON-Thumb safety already: http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii64/scb9900/Guns%20and%20stuff/DSC02410.jpg Any reason why I SHOULDN'T do this? Or am I doing the right choice?
  12. for #4, if you want a strong DOF open up your aperture and focus in on that writing and put the car out of focus more. As for #3, you're not completely center with the car (you can see that the mirror and rear taillight doesn't match up...just alittle deceiving on the eye #2, Open up that aperture and put the BG out of focus, too much going on #1 I love the shot, just too much angle. BTW - Use Flickr, photobucket kills the resolution.
  13. Just a Toyota in another shell. Just like your Audi...a Volkswagon in another shell :gabe:
  14. For 98 that's not that bad. Hell, the 05 Scion tC I drive for a 4 banger only gets 30 MPG combined...
  15. You're car is just weird. :masturboy:
  16. Valid point. Something to screw around with now is fine for me. Until I get out of college and start doing it more often is when I'll probably upgrade. Thanks for the insight.
  17. so did you put a smoke grenade in there? :gabe:
  18. Any Expertise on this field? I went clay shooting for the first time today, and had an absolute blast. I'm addicted right away... I shot a 870, it was very comfortable. It seems like this is the route to go (not the mention they're cheap) Anything else I should need to know? I figured it'd be a decent gun for HD as well (with the correct ammunition), is this a solid assumption? http://img.tapatalk.com/aefcc047-0c98-7df6.jpg
