  4. LOLOLOL okay bro. It's not like I've actually looked at the chemical compounds of what ArmorAll contains, it's not like I've done my fair research and bought thousands of dollars in products for my personal use. Oh no, I'm completely stupid. You're right. Well, in case you were wondering, education time. Armor All contains silicon, which blocks the chemicals that are released in vinyl (breathing). With those chemicals getting blocked, you will break down that product alot faster. The breathing I'm referring to is actually the process of the vinyl failing. What I mean by that is PVC pipe and a vinyl air mattress is basically the same material the difference is the plasticizers that make it flexible. What is happening is the plastizers are leaching out, which explains why over time plastics get hard and brittle. Doesn't it seem you have to apply ArmorAll more frequent ever time? Well, maybe you don't..because you're oblivious to basically anything. This is why I'm a firm believer in water based products, just like 303 Aerospace Protectant. Which actually CONTAINS 40 SPF that will protect your dash, not destroy it. PS - Have fun looking through the windshield and seeing half your dash as you're driving down the highway because it's reflective as shit. -Good Day.
  5. Can this thread die. OP: Have fun having faded dash within a couple months.
  6. Gotcha...yea From what I've known and seen, all 335i tunes are chips (Like JB4). That plug into the ECU and piggy-back it.
  7. I had one on my 2002 325xi. It was 5yr 100k additional miles as well. Anyways, I started having problems with 5th gear sticking in it's gate..common problem with the gate bushings and springs getting wear and needed replaced. Needed to drop transmission, so we went and got quoted, $1k in labor alone. Went to go file for warranty through that company. Goes to show they denied it, then went bankrupt and disappeared. Never went through with it and learned to deal with it. Never used that warranty either.
  8. Awesome, when does sign-up usually open (any general # of days before an event)? Looking at it, I can reg for the April 13-15 event...Is there any option only to volunteer just 1 weekend day or are you restricted to volunteering just Friday or Saturday and Sunday? Fri Apr 13 Officials $0 Sat Apr 14 Sun Apr 15 Officials $0

    FS: DVDs

Gave the sheet to my roommates, I'm sure we'll have a nice list sooner or later.
  10. Wow, that sucks. My family is on Farmers now and we're trying to find another insurance company. The rates are too damn high (insert meme here). Anyways, my dad's BMW 328xi coupe was claimed a performance car and therefore insurance jacked, and then my car got added to the policy and of course I will get the higher insurance, as expected. Just still don't understand how a base 3 series (he went from a sedan to a coupe) will get a jack in insurance rates of $40 a month.
  11. you need to know how to do image codes noob: http://i.chzbgr.com/completestore/2012/2/19/d19828b9-b5a0-4b18-b832-195f8d7089e2.png
  12. I saw your FT post on zpost. You'll love a Z4M. Join the dark side.
  13. Sup Crew, As I'll be taking my CCW class here shortly, I want to be well educated on what type of JHPs I should look into. As for 9mm, I don't know what grain or anything that is recommended. For .40, I've heard through the vines that 135 or 155g is a good number. I can't confirm any actual findings supporting these claims though. I've researched and seen that Hydroshocks don't fair too well with clothing, so obviously that's out of the loop. Still interested in the +P and other variant ammo, don't really know how that effects anything.
  14. Very true, excellent advice. From my experience (and talking to a service rep) with BMW, is that with any code or fault on the computer, they instantly hook up the ECU to read the code and find out what's wrong. From there, they said (and I don't know how true this is) is they can see a piggy-back'ed ECU fairly quickly. Of course, all modifications run this risk...but say you are running camber plates, when the car goes into service. Unless you're having front suspension problems, then most likely they won't find it, or care. If you have a piggy-back'ed ECU, if you have a HPFP failure (BMW 335i) or any random codes, they might be quick to dump it because of that chip.
  15. Gotta be careful though with chips, as they picky-back the ECU and the dealership will find out when it goes into service (and void your warranty). There are other ways around it, like going DINAN if you get a BMW, and other performance parts that are directly associated with said car company so you don't void warranties
  16. Meh, I like my quad exhausts. Just lose 30 pounds of body weight and you'll be fine. :dumb:
  17. Meh, only like 30ish pounds here or there.
  18. I still like mine: http://www.airsoftohio.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1223&pictureid=9821
  19. I don't think you guys will fit in the 370z. It's not too roomy. Find a CPO 335i. There is somewhere to start http://www.davewalterbmw.com/VehicleDetails/certified-2009-BMW-335i_xDrive-Sedan-Akron-OH/1640947423
  20. I've blown too much money in that store. Good deal though
  21. No, I didn't live in the Lead Based paint days.
  22. 1) Good. I could care less who I talk to TBH. I don't know you, you don't know me. 2) Oh wow, faster cars...congrats. It goes to show that alot of people really only do care about HP 3) Where did I ever say Drag Racing was a joke? It obviously takes skill to power and car with HP capable of running those times. On the street though it's completely different. Drag racing never appealed, nor it will ever appeal to me. 4) Congrats. You won the E war. Continue on with your day.
  23. Not really. To each is to their own, but Auto-X and Track is where actual drivers can show their skill. Shifting and romping on the car on a dig or pull is literally a joke IMO. Obviously you never rode or drove in a BMW, but it shines in the curves.
