  1. Wouldn't you be concerned with over penetration?
  2. I want to slam my head against a wall.
  3. I got my car from Texas. The more south the better.
  4. CR PAX Class? I'm game. Tom get rid of the R-Comps
  5. I'm a MEE with Energy Systems concentration and Energy Efficiency minor. I hope to find myself with HVAC doing Sustainable Systems/Energy Efficient Buildings. Good to know I'm not the only "hippy" here...haha Most Solar Projects are being funded right now by "sponsors" so to speak. The big projects are being bought by 3rd party people (rich people basically). They invest into these projects because they can reap the benefits from rebates...so a $750,000 system, by the end of rebates they invested a total of $100k-200,000. Over the time of the system though, they finally make profit off of the panels....but it takes a long time for them to make the profits, that's why most people don't bite the bullet. You can't afford the upfront cost.

  7. Gotcha, from the company that I contacted, I was told it's 15 years on the ballasts. And then by year 30 the panels themselves are done for.
  8. The sad thing is, is that the average lifespan of panels before they need service items is about 15 years. So add a couple more onto that when you need to replace the ballasts/inverters or whatever the hell it's called
  9. Possible Google Earth of your house and any annual energy usage? Even though I'm going for Energy Efficiency in School...I'm not sold in Solar Panels or Wind Turbines. I'm pretty sure Wind Turbines, regardless of size need to have a fall radius. That meaning you can't have anything under it. Solar Panels for residential and even bigger buildings typically never take full load off the house and turn you into an off the grid house. From calculations I did with I did internships, we sized a 200kW System of a school. It was approx a 260,000 sq ft building. 200kW means you will make 200kWh a day, on a perfect day that is. The school uses around 2000kWh though on a given day, so going through the calcs, you're only looking at 10% load from panels. Not even worth the 1.5mil cost that was associated with it. Just my .02 cents As for moving panels, it requires them to be ground mounted from what my research showed me. As well, when you're in winter...you have no energy from panels when they are covered in snow. As for energy efficiency, I'd suggest you covert all your lights to proper CFLs or equivalents, make sure windows are properly sealed...etc the list can go on and on
  10. Up in Cleveland I got 22 over. 2 Points, No Court, $122 ticket. I was pretty happy. GL with you.
  11. I don't have Speed on campus :dumb: Here we go streaming!
  12. Winner Winner. Thanks Kale. Is 24 Hours going to be streaming or live on TV?
  13. IIRC, Tom just bought the car. So there are little, if any miles that he's personally driven on them. Awesome Car Tom, can't wait to see it in person
  14. Opti-Coat is everything that Andy says, no gimmicky tricks in this thread. Anyone that wants lasting protection and can't afford the time to do regular upkeep, do this.
  15. 9005 will be easy. I can't say anything about the H7 So they have adapters for H7? When I did my sister's car, she had H11s low and we had to modify the existing female plug to plug into the ballast

  17. All depends what connector you have going to the headlights....defined by the bulb # I've worked with DDMtuning, they are O.K, nothing impressive. All HID kits are essentially the same unless you need to get ballasts to get rid of error codes. After that you're basically at plug and play.
  18. I was able to run at the DHL airport as a "trial" run to see if the community can accept SCCA being there. Business boomed, and the mayor who attended said they would try as much as possible to allow us access to the airport. We did the runs in the employee parking lot, which was plenty big....but airport is bigger.
  19. needs to burn in a fiery crash
  20. Damn Tim, you have skill. I'm still trying to learn up on LR3
  21. To add to your point, your thumb naturally rests when you draw...I love the thumb rest to be honest. It'll make me more comfortable to carry when I have one chambered.
  22. I love my manual safety. Makes an excellent thumb rest. They sent me a 2 of the low profile and finger tip plates as well. They are awesome at this.
  23. I shoot the M&P 40c. I'm in love with it. When breaking it in, I wanted to see how much the gun could handle before stripping. I put a good 300-400 rounds through it and not a single malfunction. Gun is insanely good. Trigger takes some time getting to, but it breaks really nice now. PS - If you want an extra finger rest baseplate just contact S&W. I called them asking to order one and they sent me 2, for free. I know they're cheap...but they have awesome customer service
