  1. Does it make noise when the compressor clutch disengaged?
  2. I had a line on a '15 Z28 on MSO for less than $54k, significantly less.
  3. The Corvette generations you mentioned have a "smart" SRS airbag system. It can detect passenger seat occupancy and if it's less than 80 lbs, the passenger-side module is turned off. Also, since a car seat straddles the occupancy sensor (located in the middle of cushion), the module is turned off anyway. The problem lies within the fact of mixing rear-facing car seat with a deploying front airbag; remove one aspect of the equation and the problem no longer exists. I drove around my then-toddler son in my '3 Z06 with passenger-side airbag manually turned off. My '8 Z06 already has the the passenger occupancy sensor, so no action is needed.
  4. When I got my first real job, I looked into Lexus LS and I decided to go with UCF20 instead of UCF10. One of the consideration is the all-aluminum 1UZ-FE used in MY 1995. However, that MY still had the twin distributors and a 4-speed transmission. I'd look for the one with distributorless ignition and 5-speed transmission; I believe MY 1997 is the start. Subjectively, I prefer the look of UCF20, it seems grander and more elegant with its more upright grille and taller sides. It also comes with brakes that utilize fixed 4-piston calipers in the front. Bilstein has sport dampers for it and TRD front suspension tower brace for 80-series Supra fits.
  5. Welcome, Allen! There are some drifters/pseudo-drifters/ex-drifters on this board. How did you find about CR?
  6. Why can't you take your kid in a Corvette?
  7. One pair of 285/35/19 Goodyear Eagle F1 EMT tires. Tread depth is about 6/32-7/32 for both. Date code 4608 They have no patch or repair. There is no damage in either of them. Wear is near uniform across the tread. $200 for the pair. Please send me a PM if interested.
  8. The suspension pieces would transform the car and help in the corners. Does RX8 come with adjustable caster and camber straight from the factory?
  9. That's called "firm tofu" nowadays.
  10. It is not the first when it comes to using bacteria commonly found in a vagina, it has been attempted before on making yogurt. Biochemically speaking, anything that is fermented, brewed, preserved can use the same methodology; maybe one day someone would find a way to brew beer out of toenail fungus ...
  11. Are the wheels coated/painted or bare/polished/chrome-plated?
  12. Pray tell, what's the physical address?
  13. Unfortunately, a trailer does not need a title to be registered and to go through a transaction. It is not impossible to recover it once it is reported to the police. A flat bed with open center is not unique. Hope it's recovered and returned to you in one piece.
  14. Hire a traffic lawyer. PM me if you need a recommendation. PS - there is no obligation for the police to notify any driver that the highway segment is aerial-clocked.
  15. I'm going with the aero dood, he knows it all.
