  1. I own/have owned three vehicles with GDI, unfortunately all of them have too low of a mileage to make intake valve deposit a problem. AFAIK, there are a few chemicals available over the counter to clean the deposit. There is also another cleaning method using media blasting (walnut shell) which is a lot more involved and expensive.
  2. Austin - boats beget boats. Up in your alley, son.
  3. Getting a Hellcat to use this pulley. BRB.
  4. Well, I've been thinking about getting some BC Racing coilovers for my Caddy and my Z, so if you carried that brand, I'd be open to a price quote. Please PM me.
  5. I'd rather have the Chevette.
  6. You worded the thread title wrong. The BRZ is going into that engine.
  7. Centerline California Smoothie. Reverse barrel, inboard valve hole, mirror polished, lower offset, and add Vogue wide whitewall. /thread
  8. Keep it as long as you want or until you see an opportunity to give it away to another family member (someone looking for a car to restore, you'd be the favorite uncle/cousin), besides, it's paid for. In the mean time, enjoy it and maintain it as well as you can. Please, don't give their money back at any rate, it's a token or a gesture; the car could become something of a memento. Come on, Clay, snap to it! This is a generous, family-based, likely one-in-a-million offer. Now, give the Lincoln a rather endearing name with a reference to your Dad and brother.
  9. Impressive curriculum vitae. Welcome to the board!
  10. Running around right now; we would've joined if I wasn't so preoccupied with securing a deal for two damn trucks.
  11. Good job on the floor coating but the garage is missing a lift

Cool, but photos are too small, I can't make them out ...
  13. I propose we ban all open-cockpit cars at UFO autox due to the insurmountable inherent danger built into their design. I implore the Honourable Chancellors to consider this.
  14. This is Miller's '82 GT named "Max" (weird, I know) in the foreground. http://i.imgur.com/mqld8Xj.jpg
  15. Get quotes from both. I have never used any of them, but I have met Lucore people (one is a very enthusiastic car hoarder and an enthusiastic beginner autoxer; watch out, he will talk your ears out) and I have a friend whose Forester is being "overly built" by Lucore.
  16. Welcome, Nate! I'm Tom, we met at one colder CC&C quite earlier this year and had lunch with Doc and Joe. PS - stick with Mazda, but, PLEASE, no rotary.
  17. So, Austin, are you going to autox one of your landyachts?
