  1. It's not solely about the mileage, it's mainly due to the fact that it's an Equinox.
  2. Until the payment slips have arrived.
  3. I keep these two rules when it comes to financing a car: 1. Simple interest 2. No pre payment penalty With my credit score, I use whatever financing available at the dealership to score the best deal and before the first payment, I refinance it with my credit union to get refinancing rebate and the lowest interest rate.
  4. I have an 8000-lb 4-post in my garage. It surely is a poverty-level way to add an extra parking spot. No idea about local retailer, I got mine from Greg Smith Equipment in IN.
  5. I have a set (four, not two) of 19x10 OEM painted C6 wheels if interested.
  6. Scott, I can take the Powerstop stuff. I can either pick them up at your work or your home.
  7. Any space to run an external ATF cooler?
  8. For $20/wheel, Discount Tire would dismount, mount, and balance. Just tell them how the weights need to be placed.
  9. Check the cowl area for debris when you got time. Make sure the drains (rubber bellows) are clear and the hole in the bottom is unobstructed. My '85 also had a relay mounted in one of drain paths, so I put a spacer to keep it away. It might not be the case with an '86.
  10. Actually, $50 for mounting and dynamically balancing a set of wheels and tires are not a bad deal, especially when alignment is included (even for only adjusting toe).
  11. I see C5 front brakes fitment potential Where is it going to be aligned?
  12. There isn't anything that's magically 100% dirt-dust-mud proof. Pollen would ruin a freshly-washed black finish within 15 minutes without driving. Ceramic or glass coating helps, but it's not a "spray-on" application and it requires a top-notch fundamental paint-correction work or the flaws will be sealed. I use V07 as an enhancer for the last several years. This is water-based, so it's reapplied after every wash. The nice things about V07 are the quick application requiring very little rebuffing (only when applied too thick) and it actually enhances bare plastic trims, even textured ones. Application adds about 10 minutes to my washing process. If you need a reference for paint correction, glass coating, and clear bra, just let me know.
  13. Try fuel pump and its relay and fuse first.
  14. I was there and talked to several people
  15. Which one is lighter between the CTS V-Sport and the ATS-V? Is ATS-V available in 4-door?

Nice progress, let's hope his condition stays in this trend.
  17. Yes, I did. It's old age, I think. Regarding your loss in interest in the RX7. It's now the time to enjoy it; participating in a competitive event gives the car a purpose beyond installing parts and dyno numbers. In my case, it's a never-ending evolution of improving my driving skills and overcoming mental blocks. There's something about mastering a beast that can and will bite. In this forum, there are people who compete in autocross, road-course events, drag racing, rally (dirt and tarmac), or, in rare instances, participate in obscure touring/trip to borderline extreme destinations. Reach out and see what you like.
