I have the opportunity to get a vintage Formula Vee car. It's in pieces and will require me to get it back together but everything is there and the engine is good and still works. Question, I k ow nothing about these cars. If I was to get it back together and running is there an autocross class locally I could run it at or at mid Ohio? I'm always up for a new and fun project to work on.

We looked at two houses in New Albany today, one in Lewis Center and another in Columbus that was ruled out because of location. We also went to the country house but decided it was to small. We are trying to decide between subdivision like you get in New Albany or an acre or two with a country setting. We are both traveling now a lot for work so we will decide and look again after February 20th when we are back in town on a consistent basis.

There are many reasons why I prefer my daughter to attend a private Christian school. The faith is a huge part of it. The conservative approach and not this progressive and liberal agenda being pushed onto kids is another. The quality of her education is superior to most public schools. Her school constantly has higher act/sat vs public as well. These are some of the reason. The main reason..... The main reason my girl goes to a private school is because I'm in the process of adopting her. I'm the only father she has ever known. I'm her dad. She is 6 now. Her last name is not the same as mine her moms or sisters. Now before kindergarten this summer I spoke with westerville public schools( we live in Westerville now) and new Albany. Neither one would let me daughter use the only last name she knows. I wasn't going to at 5/6 years old explain I'm not her dad. Fuck that. This state has guidelines to adopt a child, married X number years, full back ground checks home visits etc. we are in process of my legally adopting her and change her name but it won't be done til end of school year. Luckily we found an outstanding Christian private school to enroll her that understood the situation and put my daughter first and allowed her to use the name she knows. That's why she is on private school. Also early this school year my girl was having problems with letters and reading. Her teacher tutored her for free, sent home lots of activities to help us help her better and get her on track. Went out of her way to accommodate my daughters learning issue. That would t of happened in public. Oh yeah fuck potatoes. I don't eat them. Do you even keto bro?

From what we are told we have to escrow taxes( which I'm fine with I don't care). We are not putting 20% down however. As a small business I need to stay as liquid as possible. Im only going to do 5%.

Country house is out. After much thought its to small for us and in the future with wanting one more child. Sucks check everything on my list including a built shed that I could store a few cars and have a lift to have a real workspace to work on cars.

We might have found "the one", and it's a farm house In the country like we wanted. Northern Sunbury Ohio but straight shot down 71 to come to town. Really low property taxes and good sized fully Reno house. We can add our own touches like paint color and backsplash but the big stuff is done. Also has two acres fully fenced.

Exactly why I started this thread. I know the areas in Westerville to avoid but worthington is new to me.

Listen if we are dropping a few hundred thousand on a house I don't want to be surrounded by section 8 housing, and Somalians. If that offends you in sorry but it's my decision. I also don't want to be surrounded by a bunch or meth and heroine junkies.

What's a good one if not needing to store a car under it? Something to be able to do wheels and suspension but not go very high?

Had surgery at Grant Hospital. It took them 7 days to assemble a team to figure out how to fix me. Had multiple opinions before going under the knife. I was in an accident and in the trans center so I had no choice to have it. I remember the day of the surgery and not being out under before crawling up on the table to go under the knife. That was freaky haha.

I want to be within 15 mins of Schrock road and Cleveland as that's work for us. The problem with living within 270 on this part of town is it's quite "ethnic". Not a place we want to live. Have some showing set up for Africa road and up in Sunbury at some new builds later in the week. We found a kick ass house this morning in worthington. It's been on and off the market for 187 days. We view it and one hour later they get an offer.

Couple things My work hours and the wife's keep us off the roads during rush hour morning and night. That's never an issue for us. Taxes are a big deal and new Albany has stupid high taxes. We have a 18 month old and a 6 year old in kindergarten. Our kindergarten goes to private school and we already pay tuition, so I don't want to be paying tuition and high taxes when we wont be utilizing the school system. Going to public school isn't an option as we want our girls in a strong Christian based education.
