  1. Here we go.... How can it be king of the street when none of those cars are streetable? Let alone driveable by your average person for more than a day with comfort in mind. A GTR can go runs 10's, hell even 9's, cruise home with the windows up, A/C on and still hear the radio crystal clear. I'm sure they are deep into the 12's, I'm sure if I looked hard enough I'll find slips for you along with dyno sheets and actual numbers. Something you yourself have lacked the ability to produce. It's NAGTROC. The rest of this is simply numbers and figures thrown around with no valid links or anything of these facts. Again, more air filled numbers with no valid proof. More numbers backed by nothing...It's called run what the fuck you brung. I'm sorry but the only thing a C6 would possibly have on a GTR is 1/4 mile times, which judging by the way you've been talking is all you care about anyways, rather than making the car something fun for more than 10...well 11-12 seconds at a time. And by the way, I'd like to see the $10,000+ in receipts you've got in that drivetrain....:dumb:
  2. Because that was the only way they could sell them....no one wanted them...how many thousands of dollars did GM spend on it's marketing for the C6's? LOADS. Ever see a GT-R commercial? Don't even say yes because their weren't any. Nissan has a reputation of making great shit. GM...well...piston slap, dried lifters.... A new GT-R that would spank and outlast a 'Vette is $96,820. Call around to Nissan Dealers and see if they have as many sitting around as Chevy does of 'Vette's. :dumb: EDIT: And also Carlos Ghosn's goal wasn't for it to be affordable for someone in a mid-life crisis. It was for a serious enthusiast that didn't want to spend well into the 100g's for a Porsche...they did that and more.
  3. I'm sure it is. A good friend of mine runs his own carpet cleaning gig in dayton. I'll shoot him a text and see what he says.
  4. Remind me before he comes to the hangout next, I'll be sure to keep my face far away.
  5. But there is yet another valid point. Nissan doesn't make you add all these "packages" and "trims" and options. They say "Oh, hey, you have some brains, instead of making this more complex than needed, we will give you either A. The model that kicks ass or B. The model that REALLY kicks ass.
  6. http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s474/geeesammy/2012_nissan_maxima_sedan_35-sv_fq_oem_2_500_zps37baf459.jpg Are you on crack?
  7. http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s474/geeesammy/100_1312_zpsa724461a.jpg Most look like this
  8. A C6 may be able to go 1320' faster, but put a 700WHP GT-R and a 700WHP 'Vette on the 'Ring and see what happens. Then drive each on the street and see which is more comfortable and fun to drive... and also turns more heads. I've always loved Vette's but one would be foolish to take a C6 over a GT-R. Shit Top Gear tested a C6 and it didn't even have 100 miles on the odometer before the interior was falling apart :dumb:
  9. In a few years you'll be able to pick up a decently modded GT-R in good shape with lower miles than a ZR1 or ZL1 for less, and kick the shit out of it. Plus have a better interior :lolguy:
  10. What in the fuck? Are you serious? EVERYONE has heard of those things, and if they were as cheap to get stateside as you thought they were every riceboy faggot would think he's Paul Walker. Yeah, you can find an RB26 Skyline for dirt cheap on those Japanese "JDM BRO" Import sites because those cars had a power steering leak, the gov't over there deemed them unable to be driven, and have been sitting for 5-10+ years. At least that's what happens with the motors. You spend $9500 on the car, plus shipping (For an idea, my buddy had a '92 3000GT RHD Front Clip and rear end shipped over, IIRC it was near $1,000 shipped, and not even to his shop's doorstep.) You buy a Skyline, pay shipping per cubic foot, then pay for all the inspections it has to go through, and when it doesn't pass (which it likely won't because if my sources are correct R33's and most R34's dont have bumper supports) you'll have 120ish days to get it brought up to NTHA's specs. Cliffs -Unless the buster hits the mega millions, no Skyline -Better off buying R35 GT-R
  11. Good luck...... It's going to be more hassle than you'll guess, and about twice of what you'll think it will cost.
  12. I know I read somewhere when I was really into the LS/LT game that someone made a vented Opti. I believe it was MSD. I've heard the Opti's like to get condensation in them, whether it be from a slight leak on the WP or wherever, and that's when the issues start obviously. Not sure if it's made anymore if it ever even was, but just figured I'd throw it out there for food for thought.
  13. It is overkill, but never hurts to consider :lolguy:
  14. 5.3 Swapping would forever solve the issue of Opti....and have more HP :gabe:
  15. Maybe the world should have ended after all...
  16. I'd say the ratio of people say they are going to do it, vs. the people who actually do is upwards of 50:1 :dumb:
  17. Im still confused how the buster is trying to talk shit about anyones rides....what does he drive again? and what is he trying to put in the tank? the body kit he was looking at MAY JUST add 3-4 MPG
  18. That is ricer because it's every honda fanboy's "goal" to own. Most will never be able to afford it, and don't even have a set plan or know how to get their hands on one. Therefore rice. More examples of rice? Setting unattainable goals with a certain car. I.e. "bro, my car is gonna push 35psi on this db16ybdba Honda swap bro. Running 7's"
  19. http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s474/geeesammy/Untitled_zps2fa9be24.png My thoughts...
  20. It's just an idea I'm throwing out there. I think it should be dealt with I'm a case by case situation. Just my opinion...
  21. Make up "Gun Banks" and use them like 24/7 banks. Require homes with mentally disabled, felons, folks on anti-depressent's living in them to store weapons here. Allow them to have a shotgun or 9mm in their home for self defense. Put a few vets to work to work these and secure them. Small rent fee each month per gun, and BAZINGA. Whoever check the weapon out is held equally accountable for damages done with the weapon and watch the crime rate drop extravagantly.
