  6. This. If results come back good just wait to drive it until it is tuned. As far as the turbo seals just pull off the charge pipe at the compressor housing outlet and check for oil there, that is a good start.
  7. Its probably running so fucking rich you've washed the piston rings out of it. Make sure the right plugs are in it and that they are gapped correctly. What are the AFR's at WOT and crusing? Idle should hold steady once the car is warmed up unless it has some huge cams in it.

  11. I wouldn't mind spending that kind of money for the trans, but my friend has ran into an issue on his CD009 setup that has made me put the idea on hold. Basically the 009 won't fit in the stock shifter location and uses a u joint to shift or something? Not sure, either way he threw engineering gibberish at me involving some weird shit about the shifter. He says what he has done won't work, but it seems to work in my eyes. Others have done it but his pride won't let him ask, I'm too lazy and I'm not too worried about it right now, my rear diff Will pop before the trans....I hope.   16. So I am seeing some cryo treated options. Is he extra $30 or so per rotor worth it? Does it do anything for the rotor at all in situations like this? I know I can google this shit, I'd rather just ask here since I know a few people here have been HPDE'ing and autox'ing for years. Who knows what internet trolls opinion I'll read.

  18. It isn't your typical 4,000 pound mk3. No electronic suspension, Corbeau's, no targa, with me and a full tank it is right around 3350-3400.
  19. I think motul 600 is what's in my bike. I've never experienced fade with that and I have a decent brake setup on there too. While we are on this topic I've debated deleting my abs and running an adjustable proportioning valve. Most guys going with big brakes kits on these cars do that. Thoughts on that?
  20. The car is a fat pig so it will see more street use and hpde than autox. Very rarely would I do an autocross unless it is a corvette club or circleville.
  21. You are getting where I'm going I think. I don't need the best of the best. Just something that will take abuse for a season or two and give me safety and peace of mind when I hit the brakes.

  23. Well give me some options so I at least know what my range is price wise. If I was looking for something super budget oriented I'd go ebay, I value my safety and that of others a bit more than saving a few hundred on rotors lol
  24. 1992 Supra.. Using a put together front brake setup, Mercedes 00-01 S430/S500 front calipers with a 350z touring rotor in the front. Rear I'm using an evo/sti setup between calipers and rotors Mainly HPDE and autocross.
