I've been getting into Multicopters. Maybe that's not considered 'real pilot stuff', but they're a great deal of fun and pretty accessible. Might consider that if you wanna fly something around - r/multicopter is a good resource, and Cyclone Hobbies on Karl has a ton of flyer stuff (http://www.cyclonehobbies.com) I'd recommend a Hubsan X4 to bash about ($40) and a Dromida ($85) to get going on something larger. From there sky's the limit, custom builds with cameras, first-person-view, gps etc.

Allstate's doing good by me with a multiple policy (homeowners, landlord policy, autos) I had a claim for a roof, didn't have any issue with them and I don't think we took a big increase. They do creep up year after year though.

You're entitled to judge based on whatever criteria you deem fit. And so am I.

Cheap part, not bad to replace. Had this happen in the 03 Allroad. It did all kinds of other stuff too including loss of power (boost cut?) DIY: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/331013-DIY-B6-B7-A4-S4-Sticky-Brake-Light-Switch FWIW, I don't think I had to pull down the dash / harness stuff. Just get in the driver's seat upside down and have at it. Pay attention to the twist-locking mechanism, don't unlock it before it's installed.

Interesting thread. Interesting responses, too. "We" have taken from this man what made him noteworthy in the first place. He can't walk through Detroit now - he's a quarter-millionaire. He's gonna have to do something else.

"Boot Loop" is what you're seeing.

Parts on the way. Found information on the BrianEnos forum and many folks run the same rig as me have been down that road before Somebody else's photo, note the round in the mag: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v305/RCharlesS/20141213_145529_zps4aa08d2c.jpg

In the interest of full disclosure, admitting when you're wrong, and continuous learning; TL;DR totally not Freedom's fault. Here's what's up. The pistol in question has a .40 Slide, and I use a swapped in 9mm barrell/mags. The extractor sits just-ever-so-fuckin'-slightly higher and further out as a result. When it's pulling a spent casing, it sometimes tips down just enough to catch the rim of the next one in the mag, popping the extractor off the case. Slide continues to cycle, snags the top round in the mag and slams it into the bottom of the feed ramp. Type-3 malfunction / doublefeed. My fix - extra power extractor spring and minor adjustment to the mag lips. Freedom apologized when they wrote back and asked how many rounds were affected, probably preparing to ship me new boxes. I declined. Good service, fine ammo. My bad. I was just wrong. This doesn't happen with my own loads because I load 147gr (less agressive ogive), and heavier crimp.

Killer phone. I got mine through T-mo for $16.50/mo. Get a Qi wireless charging pad for it too. (I think I got PowerBot brand, ~$17 at Amazon). Good stuff.

This is a limitation of the CDMA radio type, it doesn't penetrate barriers as well as GSM (ROW) types. My vote's for T-Mobile.

My order shipped 12/18, so maybe I got the seasonal workers I sent 'em an email with the photos.

Under recoil while in the mag, none of the bad rounds I captured had been chambered. Discovered this one after a failure to eject* and put it in my pocket, started paying closer attention. I'd release the mag early or stop on an FTE* and find a short round, set aside the remainder of the box and switch to another. Figure I couldn't have caught every one, must have been gambling all along. After the 4th one I packed up and went home. They'll be hearing from me. Shouldn't have to recrimp manufactured ammo. * (probably not the ammo's fault there, I've got a barrel swap and the extractor isn't right for 9mm) Edit: yep I can pull the bullet and put it on calipers. They make/sell the bullets they use too and I use them extensively without issue. I bought these loaded rounds just for convenience while my press is down

Bought a thousand 9mm on recommendation from just about everyone - I usually press my own, but I'm in the middle of relocating. Anyway, I caught four rounds in various states of shrinkage today, following failures to eject or feed: http://i.imgur.com/dO9JGIj.jpg And I'm pretty salty about it. Shits dangerous. They were the proper size when I loaded then into the mags, so this is happening during recoil. Unacceptable. Sorry for image size, on mobile. ymmv..

It's still participation in money laundering, terrorist funding, funnel accounting, shell corps, dodging the 10k report, probably the gamut of trade violations. It'll get looked at if you send it to FBI Cybercrimes and Financial crimes divs.

Ferguson part 2 aka stupid dumbfucks, missouri edition mkii
cybe replied to unfunnyryan's topic in Dumpster
My first thought is, I doubt you'd have the chance - Cop 2 sees Cop 1 on the floor, anything that moves is getting perforated. But then, And I just don't know. Obviously cops aren't the problem, criminals are - but when a baby is flashbanged and officers are shot in self defense, maybe a bit more (read: total) confidence before noknocking would be prudent. I don't see how anyone could think it's ok to charge these guys with murder for gunning down an armed, unannounced intruder. -

Does the dealership advertise a 627-point inspection or anything? Might save ya if they somehow missed it when they ran it through the 627-point carwash.

Prime kicks ass - used to be $79, I think we've had it for three years or so? You can add other 'members' to your prime subscription (free) as well. Aside from the 2-day shipping, next day is $3.99. I like Subscribe and Save (send trashbags, dryer sheets every x amount of time). If you're not in a hurry to get something and select the lazy shipping option (which is still ilke 5 days) they'll give you a dollar credit for digital media. Amazon Web Services is opening a hub in Central Ohio, they're hiring for Cloud-related engineers and salespersons. I'm not sure if that'll mean we pay sales-tax on Amazon items moving forward or not.

Get that residential address off the site. The place is valued at 30 thousand which makes me second guess where I'm sending my money. It's okay to ship out of a garage, but try not to look like you ship out of a garage. The site is decent, works nice on mobile. Got a non-annoying popup asking me to provide my email. More information on the products, previous Tacpacks contents, reviews of the tacpack individual items will all contribute to the profiling of your site.
