  1. I think we have 4 choppers IIRC. It seems like you're interested in police activity. Peruse these and follow up Here is a list of codes: http://www.columbuspolice.org/aboutcpd/10codecp.pdf Cars are designated by Precinct -- unit 181 is 18th Precinct, car 1. They'll add 9 for overflow units, like 9181. S for supervisor, L for lieutenant. Here is a zone and precinct map: http://www.columbuspolice.org/Maps/Citywide%20Overview%20Maps%20-%20Revised%2011-2011.pdf Live Zone 2 audio: http://www.broadcastify.com/listen/feed/9074 Zone 5: http://www.broadcastify.com/listen/feed/17523 Zones 1-5 combined [citywide]: https://www.broadcastify.com/listen/feed/11208/web And here's the citizen ride-along request form: http://www.columbuspolice.org/FormsPublications/U-10.119%20Citizen%20Ride-Along%20Form.pdf This morning, Karl Rd is closed at 161 for a body from a shooting at the strip club ~5:30AM. That's, ya know, two blocks from me. I'll take all the choppers I can get.
  2. that was fucking fascinating (!) Hocking County picked up a $5MM 'soms-b' PSYOP * Special Operation Media Systems - B (SOMS-B) --The SOMS-B is a ground-based HMMWV mounted radio and television broadcast system. Like the EC-130C/J it can broadcast on AM, FM, SW and VHF television frequencies. The SOMS-B also has the capability to produce programming or radio and television broadcasts[21]

    The Tint Dude

Is this the guy with the dirty silver jetta wagon? He wasn't particularly nice to talk to when I ran into him. I'll still use Quality.
  4. I used the 'alton brown' method this year -- preheated oil to 250, dropped the turkey and set the thermo to 350. Worked great, was much less commotion/risk overall I think. Took the same 45 minutes it always has, and I didn't need to obsess about drying the bird.
  5. .40 has its merits for power factor. (projectile weight * velocity) 9mm 124gr * 1200fps 148.8 PF 382 ft-Lb 9mm 147gr * 1150fps 169.0 PF .40 155gr * 1205fps 186.7 PF 500 ft-Lb .40 180gr * 1125fps 202.5 PF 441 ft-Lb .45 230gr * 830fps 190.9 PF 352 ft-Lb
  6. 720p stuff will go for the low bucks this year, still can carry the "HD" designation

  8. I'm getting rid of a table and some chairs right after thanksgiving. Nothing fancy, but it'll be a step over drywall for sure. Yours for the taking if you haven't found something nice by then. If those old metal chairs are 'Ice Cream Chairs', they might be worth keeping. https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/seating/chairs/pair-of-antique-childrens-ice-cream-parlor-chairs/id-f_1274352/?utm_medium=pla&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=furniture&utm_term=chairs&utm_content=easy-ship&gclid=Cj0KEQiAypGjBRCPme6jmqu3gZsBEiQA8NAiIPuzjc7Y0wEeZDoDYY3WOScvrHMTNHyAhf6gkyACoW4aArLs8P8HAQ
  9. I don't know who those people are, and I'm proud of it.
  10. http://i.imgur.com/bGBY0Wl.jpg?1 Since this is now the CR Fashion thread, just wanna give a recommendation to NattyShirts and ModernTailor. If you're an odd-shaped fellow, it's worth a few bucks to get shirts Made-to-Measure.

    Mad Hatter

They do decent work over there, and the price is right. I did have the welder ask me about the contents of my car once, though - kind of left me speechless. None 'yer goddamn business? (had a handful of casings in the small door pocket, he asked "why" i have them)
  12. You stay the hell away from my flakes! AimHi has Varget and some other stuff - not sure if you're a regular, but if you like I can keep you posted on what's around. They had some Titegroup. Cabelas always has a bunch of 50BMG and shit-tier powders nobody can use.

  17. This one doesn't provide the same support in the hip/back area - it looks normal and goes back to its regular shape, but it has just gone soft in the middle on either side. I looked through the reviews and I see a reviewer who said the core of this mattress is 'regular' foam, enclosed with a few inches of memory stuff all around. Can't say for sure. For prospective buyers switching from a conventional mattress, just be aware it's a big difference. It seems firm when you first lay down, then it settles. I kind of had to learn to make the mattress conform to me when I get in. Rolling over or leaving the bed takes more effort (you're kind of stuck in the 'hole' you've made). Oh, and because of the way the material changes shape with pressure, you might find yourself off balance during activities. There's no bounce, either. YMMV
  18. I bought this one in 2011. It's pretty much shot now, but it was great for a year or so.
  19. Sure thing boss http://i.imgur.com/fYuTBQv.jpg Amazing restore job, guys.
