    In more exciting news, The Fed prime rate dropped again. Perfect timing for a refinance!
    When was the last time it was 4.25? Just curious what time period of home buyers are going to benefit.

    Doesn't look terrible, wish the doors weren't blocking it. I still think that as long as it checks out ok it'd be a good deal for someone not concerned about resale.

    After spending money on the wife's ride [emoji115], I decided to start spending a bit on the first round of mods for the Callaway. I ordered all of the parts necessary for the e85 conversion.

    Plans for the first round of Dyno tuning are:

    Throttle body

    E85

    Smaller pulley

    Headers

    Unlocked tcm

    This will probably put me close to limitations on the fuel system and transmission. I'd like to get a base Dyno first, so we'll see what the options look like.

    Love it man, I'm really into the pro touring, swapped classic trucks right now. Looking very clean. There's just something fun about a vehicle that wasn't really made to run that way.

  18. Disabling OnStar?

    From previous topics on the Silverado forum, be careful pulling fuses. I guess the OnStar fuse affects airbags and some other features.

    The fix I've seen for cutting OnStar communication/tracking is to remove the cellular card from the OnStar box beside the headunit. Supposedly pretty easy. Lots of YouTube videos and write ups.

  22. Wheel repair

    One wheel on the Mercedes is going low weekly. Discount tire says it's the wheel, corroded on the lip.

    I didn't get to see it, so I'm not sure how badly.

    Looks like a replacement is about $200 on fleabay. Would it be worth it to go to wheel medic, or just replace it?

    Should I ask for someone specific?

    Personally I'm looking for ones greater than 500 bucks that are less than 50 bucks.

    Lol, yeah, I need to get that. I just happened to switch to a special project working 10's at the airport right after you picked it up. Just taste it and tell me if it's worth a trip, lol.
