I had a CTS come in with all kinds of electrical issues. Need a connector and rear fuse block. Only way to get the connector was a full body harness, $1100. I thought that was bad.
swapping all my wires over

Would this apply to any 3800 powered car or is there a year range?
specific year and model range.

Anyone who is serious, PM me. I'm not talking a "few bucks" rental fee.

^^^BEST^^^ advice I have seen in a long time!!!!!
I'm taking donations if you're offering

I am planning to ask one of my Coworkers who has an enclosed. He is on a 5000mi offroading trip through Canada at the moment. I think he is back Tues 5th and Ill see if its rentable unless you get something prior.

I really don't want to lay out the cash for a trailer, registration, maintenance, etc. I don't have a place to store it or a vehicle to adequately tow it. My dad is coming to LS fest with me and we are using his truck.
I wasn't thinking $20 for borrowing someone trailer. I'd definitely make it worth their time.
-
Problem is most people dot loan trailers....too easy to damage and not like a car on them being insured.....and thats also why almost no one rents trailers as well.....They would get trashed on the regular. I wish you luck getting a trailer to rent or borrow...your better of finding a good deal, buying one, using it for what you want and selling it off at the same or slightly less cost....Thats your best bet really.
And that's kind of what I figured. But Figured I would ask here being as people are more tight knit and have respect for others' property.

What kind of car. Is it lowered? U haul trailers suck unless you've got some regular ass regular car with a lot of ground clearance.
Its lowered, but not slammed. 3" of clearance at the front bumper I'd say
I might be able to just haul it for you....Not 100% sure Im trailering....But I have a triple trailer....and I will have one or two of my own going.I wouldn't really want to inconvenience any body else. We are taking my dad's new 2500, so it's no biggie to throw my car on the back if I can find a trailer.
-
Uhaul that bad boy
any idea on price for 3-4 days? their site only show 6 hours

Hoping to trailer my car to LS fest this year. Anyone have a trailer I can rent? Would be sept 7-12. Open or enclosed. Would be using my dads 2500, not my tacoma. please PM me if interested so we can discuss the $$$$

Well, the senate shut down the liberals anti-gun agenda. Time to plan another false flag.

Front and rear valve cover gaskets. It's very easy. Takes 2-3 hours with basic hand tools if you're taking your time. The hardest is the rear because you have to remove the alternator bracket/heater hose manifold which means a partial coolant system draining.
generous motors pays us 0.5 hours to do the front which includes remove the upper motor mount bracket

They usually do inserts. There are covers we can use too. They look better but your key is huge
I hate the covers. I usually just cut a key and use inserts if I'm forced to use them.
-
I thought they just add a second keyring to avoid the lever action? Regardless, fucking derpy anyway.
glue in inserts and add 2 little rings on each key.

This is a "4th"/ spare car for us that gets driven < 1000 miles per year. It didn't smoke until early this year. I'm more than capable of fixing it, but when someone else will do it for free, seems silly not to go that route.
Plus they're going to do the ignition recall from morons hanging 5 lbs of shit on their key chain.
They just glue some inserts in your key so that the weight doesn't have a lever
-
Just drive it. You've been driving it for 12 years. Or you could do what people did before recalls, and fix it yourself.

I use my M18 fuel 3/8" at work all day long. Use it at the track to swap tires.

Guns are banned in GB and Australia. Yet their violent crime rates are higher than the US.

Agree on "if I had it to do all over again I would go F/I". I am only at 475 RWHP but the big cam is just too much to drive every day.
Mines fine with a big stall. But could have made 100+ more HP for the same money.
-
If I could redo my Camaro over again I'd either boost it or spray it to the moon and call it done. If I would have done either of those, I'd still probably be driving it instead of getting frustrated and selling it off.
If I did it again, I'd go cam only and none of the extra crap. Throw an LSA blower on it and call it a day. I've got as much in headers and head work as a used blower costs.

Thanks for your post! 6L80 or 4L80? Tim on here? Did you port your tb and manifold?
6l80 with an FTI 3600 billet triple disk. Tim Toops, he is on here. Think his username is NHRATA. Futral Motorsports in Louisiana did my intake and TB.

My car makes 470wheel through a power robbing 6l80. I spin it to 7000rpm. Should be no problem to hit your goal with 50+ more inches.
Stock bottom end L76 (6.0)
L92 heads ported by Tim
Custom spec Cam Motion cam
Brian tooley/morel valvetrain
LS2 timing drive
Ported throttle body
Ported LS3 intake manifold
LS9 injectors
1 7/8 kooks headers
