  1. I really don't want to lay out the cash for a trailer, registration, maintenance, etc. I don't have a place to store it or a vehicle to adequately tow it. My dad is coming to LS fest with me and we are using his truck.

I wasn't thinking $20 for borrowing someone trailer. I'd definitely make it worth their time.

  2. Problem is most people dot loan trailers....too easy to damage and not like a car on them being insured.....and thats also why almost no one rents trailers as well.....They would get trashed on the regular. I wish you luck getting a trailer to rent or borrow...your better of finding a good deal, buying one, using it for what you want and selling it off at the same or slightly less cost....Thats your best bet really.

And that's kind of what I figured. But Figured I would ask here being as people are more tight knit and have respect for others' property.

  3. What kind of car. Is it lowered? U haul trailers suck unless you've got some regular ass regular car with a lot of ground clearance.

Its lowered, but not slammed. 3" of clearance at the front bumper I'd say

I might be able to just haul it for you....Not 100% sure Im trailering....But I have a triple trailer....and I will have one or two of my own going.

I wouldn't really want to inconvenience any body else. We are taking my dad's new 2500, so it's no biggie to throw my car on the back if I can find a trailer.

  4. Front and rear valve cover gaskets. It's very easy. Takes 2-3 hours with basic hand tools if you're taking your time. The hardest is the rear because you have to remove the alternator bracket/heater hose manifold which means a partial coolant system draining.

generous motors pays us 0.5 hours to do the front which includes remove the upper motor mount bracket

  5. This is a "4th"/ spare car for us that gets driven < 1000 miles per year. It didn't smoke until early this year. I'm more than capable of fixing it, but when someone else will do it for free, seems silly not to go that route.

Plus they're going to do the ignition recall from morons hanging 5 lbs of shit on their key chain.

They just glue some inserts in your key so that the weight doesn't have a lever

  6. Source?

Yea, pretty certain that isn't even remotely true...

  7. If I could redo my Camaro over again I'd either boost it or spray it to the moon and call it done. If I would have done either of those, I'd still probably be driving it instead of getting frustrated and selling it off.

If I did it again, I'd go cam only and none of the extra crap. Throw an LSA blower on it and call it a day. I've got as much in headers and head work as a used blower costs.

  8. My car makes 470wheel through a power robbing 6l80. I spin it to 7000rpm. Should be no problem to hit your goal with 50+ more inches.
