100hp. Whats the 0-60, 3 days?
-
8-10k someday maybe. I would like to get something that could haul an enclosed trailer if needed.
I'd personally want a 2500 for that kind of weight, personally. You'd be pushing a 1500 to its limits, and likely need load levelers to account for the tongue weight. 2500 wont really even be fazed.
Exception being a 1500hd, which is basically a 2500 non-HD but with a semi floating rear end.
-
How much weight are you looking to tow?
-
Yeah which cam did you go with? Doing a stall too? I put a 224/236 with a 3600 stall in my g8 a couple years ago.
-
I'm sorry that I don't exactly trust an article that states a budget cut of $8.25 million will effect "millions" of people
If they each get a dollar.

Their old owner worked for us as a salesman for a while. Total POS.
-
Wrong. If we were in used car dealer as-is no warranty land you would be almost correct. Here though, that perspective is way off.
I feel sorry for this dealers future. You're going to be one of "those guys"

Anytime I see a car with a "Hoonigan" sticker on it, I have the urge to swerve into their lane and force them into the ditch
I bought a hoonigan license plate frame because it was funny. But I might grind the "hoonigan" part off of it.
-
I would escalate this to Honda of North AMerica and get regional rep involved-not acceptable on a new car
OP had the chance to fully inspect the car before doing paperwork. its on him
-
Its a civic. Have them repaint the panel/area and be on your way.

I won't buy new just for this reason. Every year they raise the price of a new Tahoe/yukon/escalade by $2,000 for no reason. In 2003 a new Escalade premium cost $54,000 and change. In 2013 a New Escalade premium cost $74,000 and change. Thats not economical inflation. Thats a fat hog about to get slaughtered.
This pricing model is true for most new cars that aren't a fucking Kia. They are pricing themselves out.
and now we are getting escalades in for over 100k.

The industry is doing it to themselves. Hell, its hard to buy a new truck or SUV without spending 40, 50, 70k+

I think he means that when I buy toilet paper I buy bulk or what ever is cheapest but someone pay check to pay check can spend 10 more dollars for the big pack to save a buck. Someone pay check to pay check buys gas weekly no matter the cost. Others have the opportunity to fill up and wait until prices are low. Someone who isn't pay check to pay check can wait until there is a tire sale where the poor ride them out until they pop and are forced to pay whatever they can find.
The poor actually do pay marginally more for lots of things that do add up.
Cant believe I just defended geeto.
I wasn't thinking about it like that. I was trying to figure out how 2 people pay different for items with fixed, or mostly fixed prices.
-
you do realize the poor pay more money for literally everything in their lives right? I mean you aren't that naive that you think they pay the same amount of money for say... groceries, transportation, rent, and insurance are you?
do you believe the shit you type?

If Trump is on Twitter geeto bitches about him not running the country.
He makes a decision and geeto bitches that he made a decision.
Boy oh boy
No different than all the other Liberals
If Trump lets Asaad kill his people, then trump must be in bed with Putin. If Trump attacks, he is trying to start a conflict with Putin.
People just want to bitch about trump.

welcome. what kind of car do you have? I'm also in zanesville. blueish-green pontiac g8.

well its back together for the most part, still have to put the front diff back in. I went ahead and primed the engine and fired it up, its quieter now on cold start than its ever been. Everything sounds good and it idles smoothly, BUT...i dont know if this is a good thing or a bad thing yet, the oil pressure is pretty damn high. It sits and idles at around 60psi and naturally increases as the rpms increase. i have not let it come up to full operating temp yet, but this is a HUGE difference from how it used to be. it used to go up to 40-50psi on cold start and with in a couple minutes it would drop below 20psi. now it stays steady at 60psi.
i am kicking myself in the ass just a little because i did not plastigauge the new rod bearings, i did however mic one out and the size came back identical to what i removed.
My G8 idles at 55-60 cold, and 45 hot. It'll go to 80-90 psi when cold above 3k rpm
Did you keep or remove the oil pressure bypass in the oil pan?

The stock ECU will have to be emissions compliant, the crate ECU might only be "off-road" use, just like some of the other stuff in the crate.

didn't think of that. you are probably right
-
I wonder how that will work with the emissions requirements.

Castle law
Too bad so sad
It's awesome they are charging the chic that drove them there with their murders.
+1.
I have a 12 gauge right inside my door and my carry pistols on the dresser. Someone breaks in, they best hope they can run faster than 12 AA pellets
-
Should he have been charged? Many people believe so...
Hell no he shouldn't be charged. Hang the bullet ridden bodies for all the would-be thieves to see.

Same date as "f-body" meet in Memphis. wont be able to make it
