Only the cab has the vin on it. The fenders and grill and tailgate are from a different truck. As well as the engine and trans. The vin makes the whole truck a Chevy based on that's the registration

Nice. What do the maps look like? If it shows where you are braking/accelerating and tr speeds that is really all you need.
