  1. you can look up the actual verbage on the ohio attorney general's page as well as some other sites. and no, your local carryouts and stores do not permit open containers on their premises and thus are not class D establishments. I am currently a USAF Combat Arms Instructor and have been working to get my ohio ccw instructor certification. The safe bet is to always just not carry if the sign has the writing saying you can't. However with the liquor establishments it has to say specifically ccw is prohibited.
  2. and lastly, the signage does not prevent someone from carrying in their vehicle, only on their person outside of the vehicle.
  3. also, another little tidbit that i've looked at would be the signs posted at Easton Town Center, these have a picture of a revolver with the general red crossed out circle. these are not legal signs prohibiting the LEGAL LICENSED concealed carry by an individual, as it is written in the ORC that the only legal signage MUST contain this phrase :“Unless otherwise authorized by law, pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code, no person shall knowingly possess, have under the person’s control, convey, or attempt to convey a deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance onto these premises.” This however can be confusing as some people think that their CCW license authorizes them by law to carry... however this is not the case. unless the signage expressly states UNLICENSED persons, then they cannot carry.
  4. there is no license for open carry, you can carry openly without a license, however if the above sign is posted that no UNLICENSED carry is allowed, then an unlicensed person cannot at all. Basically a class D license is for the consumption of alcohol on the premise of which the alcohol is sold. I.E. bars and restaurants. you can currently carry in these places as long as they do not have a sign expressly stating that LICENSED CCW patrons may not carry. However the above UNLICENSED signage, IS required at ALLL class D establishments by law.
  5. if it says UNLICENSED then you are still allowed to carry since you are a licensed carrier. Those signs HAVE to be posted at ANY class D liquor establishment to show that unlicensed carrying is STILL illegal in a class D establishment. A class D must spell out that licensed ccw holders are not allowed on the premises if they don't want you to carry in their business. it's also a way to prevent open carry by unlicensed individuals
  6. that email is ridiculous. for someone who is supposed to be educated and in such a position that person has come across looking like a complete imbecile. does he not know that to obtain a license to carry, one HAS to be trained... albeit not to a very high standard, but trained none the less.
  7. looks damn good mikey, i could def. use this if i had the spare coin
  8. anything over 31 is known as a Dangerous Ordnance. it's about $10-15 and one piece of paper and you register it at the sheriff's office. you can legally have all kinds of sweet shit, but you MUST register it with the county so they know. otherwise if you slap your drum on that ar you are breaking the law.
  9. this cheech guy... is a moron. The whole reason for the UC cops to be called was because of the students "camping" at the protest. Yes it is a public college campus, but there are rules. Just like how you can't go sleep on a park bench or in most places go pass out on a public beach at night. The police were leaving the other protestors alone, only were there to force the students to take down their tents. Upon refusing a LAWFUL order, those tents were taken down and anyone who INTERFERED WITH A LAWFUL ORDER were arrested appropriately. Once the students moved on the police and then encapsulated them with a SHOW OF FORCE "a mob of people surrounding a group is automatically considered threatening". Upon being asked politely by a very well mannered officer many times to move themselves, the mob became even more threatening with their chants admitting to holding police officers captive. To be honest, this was the absolute BEST outcome that could've possibly happened. These students are lucky that they were not physically beaten into submission by the officers, which is COMPLETELY legal in such a situation, btw. The officers remained calm and waited for reinforcements. Every single one of those students could have, and SHOULD have been arrested and charged. I'm not just talking about the ones sitting on the sidewalk, but all students surrounding the officers and presenting a threatening stance. This video brings to light some serious issues that are happening nowadays. Would've been even better if the cops had their gas masks and they just let loose with tear gas, then arrest everyone
  10. Law Enforcement Protection Act. look it up. it lists out exactly who is allowed to carry regardless of when/where. corrections officers IIRC aren't covered.
  11. the main reason that it has a bit of an advantage over the O/U is that you don't have issues with the MOA changes of the 2 different barrels. There is quite a science in the trap/skeet/sporting clays world. My pops isn't a pro or anything, but a state champ and damn good none the less. you should see the crazy ass rail system he's got on the browning cynergy "unsingle" combo. those guns are just crazy!

    CCW law...?

it's probably the smartest bill in the last 10 years lol. it actually makes 100% sense. It doesn't really mess with the states ability to make gun laws, but standardizes the ability to carry in the states that allow it. just be sure to have your ass up to date on the state you are in and their laws
  13. def hit up bravocompany!! i built my current lower with all parts from there. ordered on monday, delivered on wednesday... the week of thanksgiving too. and pretty good prices
  14. it's pretty simple to legally build the ar pistol. It must come as a lower without a buttstock. virgin stripped lower is best. have the ffl mark it as "other" on the transfer. As long as this is the original transfer "virgin" and it doesn't all ready have a stock on it, then you are legal. just keep it as a pistol at alllllll times. NEVER swap a stock on it or anything like that. def don't put a hand grip on the front either.
  15. the full size 45's actually usually kick less than the smaller calibers/compacts. 1911's are very well balanced and just push back a little, whereas most of the 9mm, beretta, glock, kel-tec, springfield, etc. tend to snap up on ya. harder on the wrist and def more difficult to stay on target
  16. there's nothing wrong with a "fake can" places sell them all the time. as long as it doesn't actually suppress the sound, right?
  17. where you work at, Brandon? I valet over at Mercedes... lol
  18. Yea brad, its waaay faster lol. Its just gna b a bit harder to get it to hook up. Ill be fabbing all the suspension components for it over the winter. Plan on takin it to pacemakers if I can get this misfire figured out in time. We are thinkin it should b low 11's on motor, then goin for a wet plate setup for next year. I'm a security forces combat arms instructor
  19. here it is open headers after the tune
  20. I've got Texas Speed Performance(TSP) 1 7/8" primary long tubes mated to a TSP 3" ORY going through the SLP Loud Mouth II cat-back. It's just a bomb style resonator, not even an actual muffler.
  21. it's almost too loud lol. just some short jaunts trying to get the coil issue figured out, and i get a damn headache... it's fine just cruisin, but once you open it up.. wheeeew
  22. Here's my little build. Having an issue with the passenger coil packs misfiring. Hoping to see some low 11's all motor on radials.
