Awesome man! It's amazing what you can spend on little things at just the WERA events... AMA just goes that much further. Which class are you running this year? SS or DSB?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008CY932W/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller= I kinda dig this setup as you can roll the bike around on the lift, or lock the wheels for stationary stand.
oh man, they are used aaaaalot! They are actually really nice to use in the pits and for quick adjustments. while working as a tire official for a couple AMA rounds I got to see first hand the teams using those frame lift stands. makes wheel changes a breeze without those front/rear stands in the way.
I can't find the pix right now, they are somewhere though... i'm talking pit bikes taped to the rafters of pit garages, condoms full of mayo on exhausts, racebikes on the Grattan MX track, etc. lmao shit got outta hand
lol, i think i may ACTUALLY find my way back at some point this year... finally have a real job that pays well and have a friend offering to let me ride his other r6... figure i'll give that a whirl before buying a new racebike haha
lol, yea surprisingly no one got any pix or video of it... the bike snapped the frame, and for once it wasn't at the welds! It bent the forks and smashed the Rad and bent a wheel. luckily I had just picked up an 07 that week as a backup bike so we were able to swap everything over. thank god it didn't hurt the new SS motor from CarrMoto...lol. we basically only lost the frame and fork legs, were able to fix the ohlins cartridges and the wheel.
not to mention he owns his own team... as a rider you only make a salary, but as an owner..... profits! haha. larry is awesome, i've known him since i got into the asphalt stuff back in 06. he even showed up in columbus for my birthday event i had downtown this summer. such a low key regular guy.
my story at Grattan is pretty epic.... lmao. clipped a lapper coming onto the front straight wfo 4th gear.... the bike and I met the armco.... somehow the bike stayed up and hit the wall square at 100+. witnesses said it went a solid 15 ft up in the air and came to rest where that big black spot is where it puked its guts out. I landed on my feet instantly breaking my ankle and heel bone before tumbling into the wall back first....
Agnes launched a Gixxer over that wall and into the woods a few years back... had to take a tractor into the swamp to dig it out... we were out there at midnight looking for his tip over sensor... lmao had it back together and on the track for Sunday though
might want to look at a disability policy as well. I am licensed in Ohio, it definitely is a big deal, I personally put the disability above the supp. health coverage. If you can't work for an extended period then you would make zero money to even pay those co-pays. Once you have all the extra responsibilities of wife/family/career/house, this insurance stuff is a big deal with the dangerous hobbies we all enjoy.
