  1. You've lived a sheltered life.
  2. $3500, and it's my 02 Grand Prix - http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79603&highlight=prix
  3. So, I got a phone call with some bad family news this morning, so to take my mind off that, I decided to fix the Ram. It has been hesitating, stumbling, and was throwing an EGR code. Now, research showed that the EGR on the Hemi going out would not cause a drivability issue, but I figured different. Went to Advance in Pataskala, tightened my asshole waiting on the $100+ quote... "$38 in stock". Badass. New part went in in 20 minutes (including 1 Bud Light). SES light is off, truck sounds perfect again, life is good. Now, why can't every home mechanic repair go quickly and for 1/3 the expected cost?
  4. Well then, we have you right where we want you. The rules are in place because of past lessons learned. If those "other" boards haven't been through the same growing pains as CR, well, they will be some day.
  5. Why would anyone build an S10? P.S... Wanna buy a stroked, sprayed and tubbed 85? :)
  6. While you're in there, inspect all of the vacuum lines that may have been disturbed while the plugs were being changed.
  7. Great, 20 guys yelling at each other for 10 minutes. Where's the race video?
  8. So, all the plugs still tight? Probably want to pull them and make sure they still have all the pieces-parts they came with and are gapped correctly.
  9. More than I would pay for an 11 year old Ford with 100k miles. What makes this such a killer deal (per some of the replies)?
  10. I agree. Aside from a 3' rainbow sticker across a rear bumper, it has definitely been the most sure-fire way to pick out gay men on the road (which I do on a daily basis, being a homosexual male myself). Ha, Urban Dictionary agrees: "A "cute" tiny convertible geared towards women, homosexual men and silverdomes trying to relive the youth they once had in their Triumph or MG." Seriously though, if it's fun to drive, and folks don't mind driving a go-kart down the interstate, more power to them. Now, maybe a 5.0 Miata would be slightly less gay.?
  11. ... listening to Charlize talk about sweat dripping down her thighs to her knees and jumping into a pool naked... Oh Oh Oh 1.5 O faces ... I'm done.
  12. I managed to pull my trash can in from the road tonight AND checked the mail while I was out there.
  13. Had a couple and a GT. I had front end suspension issues with them. Tie rods, bearings, sway bars breaking. Never had to take the engine or trans apart though. Overall, you can find one with heated leather, moonroof, HUD, CD changer, dual climate, etc for CHEAP.
  14. I bought 2 24oz cans a while back and drank them in about 10 minutes. I got a slight buzz, but mainly, I felt like I chugged a 2 liter of Dew.
  15. Doh, don't search "coke bottle" on urban dictionary from a work training class...
  16. Joe, not that it's a bad idea to balance the shaft, but you should be able to visually see if a weight got knocked off. I'd really check out the joints. Bad joints won't always have "play" in them. Good luck.
  17. I will never understand why anyone runs an intake setup that would allow this situation to happen.
  18. bump for being excited about this movie.
  19. WHAT??? THERE WERE PICS TO ACCOMPANY THIS HERE POST??/!!/??? Post 'em OP.
  20. Just to add... Pull the shaft out. See if one has a "rough spot" when rotating it in its full axis. Even if the joints check out, you'll only be out the 20 minutes it takes to undo the couple 10mm? 1/2" bolts.
