  1. There's money in it. But, the problem is that 1000 people before you have thought of this, are already making the money, and the folks down South picked up on the market they were sitting on.
  2. We got out from behind our laptops, had some balls, and hit on them in person.
  3. You're right. That's exactly who GM has chosen to hand assemble their flagship engine. I bet they took someone off of left turn signal assembly shift and said, "George, watch this 5 minute training video and then go put them motors 'gether." Yup, I'm sho you is right.
  4. I thoroughly enjoyed Cars. I am looking forward to part II.
  5. I was zoo-ing it up this weekend too. Kids got a kick out of the polar bear underground viewing.
  6. What.in.the.fuck are you talking about?

  8. Replied. Who do you work for? Yes. I had to get rid of it after the mrs. was out of work for 18 months. Again, not by choice. I loved that car.
  9. There are 2 01's in my family. One has had a tranny sensor go out and one had the multi-switch in the column go out. They have no plans of replacing either truck any time soon; they love them.
  10. Drinking, eating ribs I have been making all day and going next door to my neighbor's July 4th party (I know it's the 10th).
  11. So is CR. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=536&pictureid=4234
  12. Weird, I have the same power washer, creeper, and shop vac.
  13. I was PM'ed the Manheim numbers. If I am reading that right, the auctions are going for mid-15's to mid-18's for average and high? Shit, I need to ask more. I've seen enough auction vehicles to know how much nicer mine is than most auction rides. I'll get back to you soon; I have a possible Z06 trade, but he isn't local, and most of those fall through.
  14. That's easy. $17k even. NADA Retail is $21,600 NADA Trade-In is $17,900, even leaving a couple options unchecked. Manheim shows $19k - $20k. Searching AutoTrader for a 300 mile radius for private sellers, I see a person couldn't touch my truck for less than $19k (except one poor soul getting divorced) . So, I'd day $900 under NADA trade-in is pretty fair. It will go up for sale to Joe Public soon enough if no dealer is interested. Thought I'd give this a try once.
  15. Something between trade-in and private party. Or, a C5.

    the heat is on

I wouldn't be caught dead in Cleveland... or Miami. Been in both, and no thanks.
  17. I vote real as well. And, well, it beats going under 6' of dirt, IMO.
