Anyone else watch their yard/driveway go under water tonight? Or have water run in their garage for the first time? I normally don't get too worried about rain, storms, etc, but I was starting to wonder just how much rain was going to come down tonight. Went from working on the truck in a t-shirt, to freezing my ass off in about 2 hours tonight. Damn Ohio.

I won beer money by beating an SRT4 from a dig. Only after I tried, repeatedly, to talk him out of the race. Afterwards, he didn't want to pay because, "I MUST HAVE A HIDDEN BOTTLE!!1!!" In the S10, btw. What's worse is that HE picked the dig.

Ironically, I just cleaned out the detached garage, and there is a very large, very old microwave that the guy left out there, I assume for his coffee. I have not tested it by heating anything up in it, but I did plug it in and run it for like 5 seconds. Sounded normal. If it's worth your trip to Pataskala, you can have it.

Dollar for dollar, you will go faster and quicker with a V8 installed than fucking around with the 4.3 <--- 4.3, not 4.6. If you go the V8 route, there are some great V8 S10 resources here on CR, including me.

From the factory, what are some of the odd or unique things about your car? GTO - - The gas tank is in the trunk over the rear wheels. - The factory amp gain is only set on 1/2 it's limit. - You can press Mode+Set while turning the key on and enter into a pretty cool diagnostic session. - You can set a chime to beep when you reach a certain mph. Very handy, as it feels you are going 55 in this thing when you're going 70. - There are no traditonal power doorlock switches (unless you read the book); there is no trunk keyhole. - The key is HUGE. - Several interior items are still set up right hand steer.
