  1. Ouch. I knew a stock GTO was heavy, but the actual number surprised me. - Weights: curb weight (lbs) 3,725 Got me curious... 2004 Mustang: -Weights: curb weight (lbs) 3,665
  2. Calm down. I wasn't all that impressed with the actual engine. Just wanted to stir the pot on a slow evening. That is the actually the first LSx swapped stang I had ever seen.
  3. Free bump. I'll miss the yellow sig pic
  4. Several people have told me that.
  5. Bump. I gotta cover the GTO check somehow.

  7. As a lot of you know, my go-fast toys have mostly been carbureted. I am now researching the LS1 tuning possibilities. I plan on reading all there is to read on LS1GTO.com as well as other forums, but I want to hear what people I know actually use on their own cars. Have most of you purchased your own tuning software? Do most of you in and around Cbus use DynoTune and/or pay someone else to tune your cars? I'm a very DIY person with access to tools, lifts, and a laptop. I want tuning options that can grow from basic CAI / headers through forced induction. Where do I start? -Vince
  8. Ha. Good memory! But, no. Just a random vid.
  9. You've proven yourself an idiot. Over and over again. Don't try to salvage this thread. Just stay the fuck out of threads you don't belong in from now on. MMk?

  11. I'll remember the name and company, thanks. I have all the parts I need for now.
  12. Ok. You're stupid. Come sit in my car. Check out which side of the center console the e-brake is on. Guess why? Come sit in my car. Check out which side of the radio the volume control is on. Guess why? Nice try though. Clicky. Clicky. http://selectmotors1.com/photos/7860.jpg http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-2004/2004-Holden-VZ-Monaro-Y-S-Studio-1920x1440.jpg

  15. Takes a lot more than that to offend me. I just doubt a test drive from Denny D. is enough evidence to make those claims. People spreading the idea these are slow is a GOOD thing for me.
  16. You are 18 now according to your sig. How old were you when they let YOU drive a GTO? And where did YOU drive it where you were able to test out it's handling? I haven't seen a GTO on their lot for a long time.
  17. It sounds good in theory, but I have been searching for a Z06 every day for 3 months. They are NOT available for anywhere close to what I paid for my GTO. I found 1 2001 Z06 in Ohio for under $29,000. It was in Johnstown, with 60k miles, and was completely dogged out. There are a few in Cbus now for 29-30. My car was $9,000 less, and is almost spotless. After driving a few LS1 Z06's and a GTO (GASP), I would still pick the GTO. If I was 10 years younger, I might have a different opinion. EDIT - Also, whoever drove the 04 6 speeds for the 1/4 tests from the major Car magazines, should NEVER be allowed to do a test drive again. These cars are faster than advertised. That's one more huge reason I like it.
  18. Man, a LONG time ago. Last Saturday.
  19. Do a little more research. Your comment is similar to saying the Camaro and Firebird aren't really the same car.
  20. Yeah. THAT applies to this thread. Has anyone else in this thread even driven a GTO?
