  1. I saw this and was thinking 'cool - maybe they'll work when riding in the winter'. I'm thinking those won't quite do what I need. I had no idea mountain-climbing gear was that expensive. I guess it makes sense. What do those things cost new (I'm afraid to know actually). Bump for you.
  2. Cool - I doubt you'll get yourself in a bunch of trouble on that. Sportbikes are fun, but it sucks having a bike you can't ride for long.
  3. Greg, is this your first bike? If so, try and get into an MSF or similar class. Get gear, too. Helmet, jacket. gloves, boots - pants if possible. I've seen riders that have crashed with jeans on and they hardly wore through, and others where they got rashed to hell.
  4. Looks good! Congratulations.
  5. Cool - hit me at work tomorrow for my address. I'll be off around 4:30
  6. Mark, I live off of Georgesville Road, how far are you?
  7. Standard mustang gas tank - I think they are 13 or 15 gallons.
  8. Old old bump but I still have the tank. Come get it.
  9. I'm up for it. This weekend is out, but perhaps next weekend (7/21).
  10. Is Rhiannon running the AMA now? That's cool. My wife and I met her at the Ducati opening on main street last year. She signed a pic for my daughter and it's up on the wall of her room. Nice girl, plus she's super hot! I'd be happy to help out, too - I enojyed just hanging out in the pits.
  11. The old exhaust was pretty heavy, too. The euro emissions crap sucks ass. At least it's more free weight loss.
  12. I think the 8 years of no significant changes to the model have more to do with that than the fact that the Hayabusa is somehow a 'better' platform. The aftermarket has time and incentive to develop for it. I'm hoping Kawi leaves the 14 alone for a few years so more parts will be created. This changing models every two years routine sucks for parts. I've been hearing that the new Hayabusa is heavier than the old one: http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/mcn/2007/June/june25-jul2/jun2807firstlook2008suzukigsx1300rhayabusa/
  13. Keep making excuses... (Ben does this stuff for us, I'm just giving him a hard time).
  14. Map: http://www.google.com/maps?q=200+Hutchinson+Ave,+Columbus,+OH+43235,+USA&sa=X&oi=map&ct=image I'm in there like swimwear...
  15. That's strange. I seemed to have dusted you off in the twisties a few weeks ago.
  16. The stand measures 15 inches across. If anyone wants it, PM me - the board isn't sending me notifications. If you aren't sure it fits, ride your bike over and we can check it.
  17. +1. Let us know what time and where.
  18. Try again - apparently my box was still full. I didn't empty the deleted items.
  19. It is first come first serve. You can buy your tickets now, but there are not campsites like in a regular campground.
  20. John, can I get an address from you so I can see where it is? Who was the builder?
  21. I'll have to show this thread to my wife. It's nice to have a 'warm woman.'
  22. Hmmm..Maybe he did make it. It's sturday, I can tell you that. I'll get measurements. Sorry - my notifications aren't working since the changeover to the new board software.
  23. Those values are based on politics - not science. That's what drives the EPA. Don't believe me, look at the banning of DDT sometime.
