Hey guys, I am Joe and I live in Westerville. I know a few people on here. I ride an 06 ZX14, red, stock. Looking forward to meeting a lot of you guys!

You can't please all of the people all of the time..... but you can use better judgment on who you chose to represent your country. I personally am 100% for America. If we have a douche bag as president, I don't really care, as my country is my country. I think it all started going down hill when they took the pledge out of schools and disallowed the use of "God."

WTG Ben!! My wife and I did the same thing. We have a 2 story "cookie cutter" home right outside Westerville (1 mile from my frisbee golf course and 2 miles from that courses daddy, SpaceGhost) and we absolutely LOVE IT! Think of it this way: Its a home. Its yours. And families have been raised in smaller places with no problems whatsoever. Who cares what others say, its your money so do with it what you want! M/I actually has fairly high build quality. For the style home that Stephanie and I purchased, they are rated much higher than Dominion and all the others for customer satisfaction. M/I was an easy choice for me. I walked in and said I am putting this much down, I want my payments to be this, show me my options, and they did. NONE! of the other companies did that for me, they all tried to upsell us to something that we did not want. I was raised in a place where it took 10 minutes to get to town and our neighbors were more than 100 yards away, and personally growing up in that shit SUCKS! Talk about maladjusted children!! I feel its best to live in a neighborhood with other children and families close to your age so that YOUR kids can grow up without social disorders. Cudos to you and best of luck in the future!! :thumbup:

sweet numbers! I don't like turbo bikes, but thats one bad mofo!! Mr. Turbo just released a kit for the 14 thats pretty promising. 265hp at 5psi is about the norm, I believe, but I could be wrong. The numbers are just starting to come in.

congrats on the purchase Tommy! I personally dont like the way Yamaha changed the R6 styling. And, having owned a Yamaha, I HATE their stock mirrors! The R6 has treated many people well over the years, be careful and keep the rubber on the road!! Bring her here and we can get a big CR ride going!

good to hear. I guess its all a matter of perception. some people say 40 hrs is slammed, to me I am not busy until I get 100 hrs or more. I have had 132 hrs in 6 days, but that was just luck. I wanna get back to 90+ for 6, 80+ for my 5 day week, and nothing less that 70 on my 4 day week. I cant wait for another month...thats about when we get stupid busy.

I know there are a few other dealership techs on here and I know we all bitch about how slow work is in the winter times, especially around the holidays, so i figured I would see how the other places are doing compared to mine. Lately, its been pretty bad at my work. Dont touch our first car until about 8:30 and seems like we are done with the majority of our jobs by about 3pm. I work on a team of 3 techs, myself included. This time of year, all it seems we are doing is fuggin batteries for .5 and oil changes for .3, sometimes rotations too. I just hate that we had to bust our asses with tons and tons of little services to get 87hours on our last pay period!! Of course it doesnt help that my service writer couldnt up sell fries in a combo meal at McDonald's! On top of that, we recently changed insurance stuff and now I am paying more for a LOT less coverage..... So how is everyone else doing out there?

another nice thing about Toyota/Lexus hybrids are regenerative braking. They load the electric motors to supply the first 70% of braking, then go to the hydraulic, making it almost impossible to lock the brakes under "typical" hard stopping conditions.
