  1. The facial recognition sucks. It's much faster to just use the pattern lock screen. Also, I can unlock your phone using a picture of your face on my phone. Did it to a coworker, I was more amused than he was. I really like the idea of the thumbprint unlock, as long as it's near instant. I'd love to see that feature on my next Android. What are the chances Apple finally fixed their shit cell antenna? slim to none?

Saw it mentioned, and I'll vouch for it. Waze is hands down THE best GPS/Navigation/traffic app out there. Google purchased Waze recently, and Waze and GMaps are already sharing nav, traffic, and search data. Waze also alerts to speed traps, road hazards, and traffic cameras. And it's free
  3. Seconded for the V70R, if you can find one. Then B8 S4 Avant.
  4. I thought the LS1 had a 6 speed behind it.
  5. He's trying desperately to be remembered for more than just being America's first black president.
  6. I suggested bass boat red paint and a lift for a quick sale in Whitehall.
  7. This is a good route. Especially if kickass enables the LTE for you.
  8. To use on T-mobile it has to be SIM unlocked, and the ESN (electronic serial number) has to NOT be blacklisted, IE the phone can't be stolen. An AT&T iPhone will only have partial data compatibility with T-mobile's data networks. I would avoid going this route.
  9. As has been said, stay far far away from Sprint, Virgin, Boost.
  10. Does the 320i sound better with 260 RWHP? http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19987&highlight=320i Car put down 183 RWHP stock, so it's a bit underrated. Car picked up 80 RWHP with the first attempt at tuning it.
  11. Not at all, especially the NA inline sixes. Much easier to work on than a boxer engine.
  12. A lot of really nice cars there, and surprise, the GTR takes home the W. But of all those sexy, sexy machines I'd like the E63 S AMG. 585HP in a wagon, yes please! Super secret secret sleeper!
  13. The first red kit looks alright. It's simple. The rest are not good.
  14. I saw the skidmarks this evening, and the brand new power pole. The skidmarks lead directly towards the new pole. There is a ditch, followed by a embankment directly in front of the pole. It looks as if the northbound car was flying, locked up the brakes, crossed the left lane, hit the embankment, got some initial air, and hit the pole. I assume the initial impact knocked the pole to a pretty steep angle, and the car slid up the pole and into the now-lowered lines.
  15. I JUST drove thru there. I had to take Beaver Run because of the wreck.
  16. I actually understood some of that. My GF does R&D and manufacturing of fuel cells. Interesting, man!
  17. Wow, read their policies. Party pooper Grid is more like it
  18. railroad ties any good? I'd guess they're approx 8' long. RR just tosses them down the hill onto our property after they replace them.
  19. A friend of mine bought one. The first time I saw it I congratulated him on his A6. Then I took a closer look.
  20. Buck is spot on here man. Buy her a safe/reliable commuter car, and if funds allow, a fixer-upper truck. She's a 16 girl. I don't care how responsible/mature you say she is, at the end of the day she's a 16 year old girl. It's awesome that she's interested in wrenching on something, but a vehicle like that is pretty much a worst-case scenario vehicle for a 16 year old's daily driver. Edit: it's important to point out that she won't be the only driver on the road. She may very well be focused on the three-on-the-tree and NOT texting while driving, but drunk c+ student Not Brian in his 2009 Malipoo who is left of center is going to crush that truck.
