Good for you man. Once you hit the plateu its hard to break through. I went from 266 and lost 26lbs then hovered around 240 for a while, only in the past two weeks have i finally 'broken' through, im now at 231. Its just a matter of time and dedication now. My original goal was 220, ive changed it to 210 after seeing the progress i made. Its going to be nice to be down to my old weight again, be able to fit into old clothes too. I dont get it, you say you dont want 2 car payments but then name off a list of cars that you would HAVE to get into some sort of payment for? You kinda sound like me, Im going to get rid of my jetta simply b/c i hate making such a big payment everymonth, and I'll pick up a beater and pay cash. In a few months/weeks I'll look at buying a bike or a possibly get into a lease with a nice sports car of some sort (mustang maybe?) something I wouldnt normally buy and drive year-round.

Tim im not sure if you subscribe to Motor Trend but the C6's 'facelift' is going to be more than just a facelift. 30more hp (36 with optional stock 2 stage exhaust) as well as upgraded interior materials, bigger intake valves, updated manual trans and paddle shift auto. Comes out in august. Though i have a friend who has a "regular" c6 and says its crazy fast, all he has is an exhaust.

Oh sorry, i dont know about this coming session, i just knew sipers played on monday nights. Hammer is pretty cool about turning in money though, even if your late with it. Im sure it wont be a problem. He wants this teams due's at the first game, at the latest the second game but he knows this was a last minute effort so he's worked with me on it.

Central Ohio Roller Hockey in Grandview. League starts next week goes for 12-13 weeks, with one game a week +playoff's. Gear includes helmet (shield/cage is optional) knee/shin gaurds, elbow pads, and gloves. Pants and chest/shoulder protectors are optional. Cup? only if you want kids. Considering how hot it gets in this place I go with the bare minimum of pads, yeah you end up with some black and blues but hell its hockey right? As for Contact, I'd say "medium" they let you get into it a bit on the boards but nothing crazy like mid ice collision's or crosschecks. This is related to how much padding you wear aswell. fighting = 3 game suspension.

Im putting together a tuesday night roller hockey team and am in need to fill roster position's. If you've never played roller but have played ice the transition isn't that bad. Taking all position's now, O/D/goalie, If your interested PM me, thanks.

My mom works Projects for Chase, though she's considered a contract employee and the contract can supercede the law in any case regarding pay and comp time. They just told her this past weekend that they were behind schedule and getting close to budjet so they should expect to work long days and not neccessarily get paid for it. Though when each project manager is getting paid $65.00 an hour it can make a big difference in whether or not your on budget.

Don't limit yourself to collection's then. Look at the bright side, you have 2+ years of financial experience, that applies to alot of jobs. Alot of jobs that dont neccessarily hold seniority in such high regard. I work in a warehouse a few years ago where seniority was EVERYTHING. Now I work at Chase and seniority only dictates who gets vacation and when. From what you described your working over 40 hours a week and not getting paid OT. Your getting the shaft. Yes you should be happy to have a job and to be doing so well in one but you get to a certain point where if your just not happy or not as happy as you can be then start looking.

There are federal guidelines stating they HAVE to pay you time and a half for overtime. But OT can be construed as one of two things, anything over 40 hours a week, or anything over 8hours a day (10hours if you work 4/10's). As long as their paying you OT for your work there's no law their breaking. What I dont understand is how are you working your 40? mon-fri 8 hour shifts? if their making you come in on a saturday then how did they ever get away with not paying you OT? i think i just misunderstand your post, sorry.

You guys all said it right. Of course the friends/family of the victim's will cry foul but in the end they were the one commiting the robbery and they were the one's that got themselves killed.

I usually claim 0 during the year and end up with a tax refund at the end of the year. Only reason why is because its almost garanteed you won't owe if you claim 0. When I worked at the warehouse and we knew we'd be facing alot of OT in the near future alot of us would claim Exempt for a certain SMALL period of time in order to keep the Fed from taking all of our OT earnings. I would never recommend anyone doing this year round. I only did it for the holiday's b/c i would constantly work 50-60 hr work weeks. You can only claim exempt for federal taxes, not state. I did know a guy who regularly worked 60 hour weeks and claimed exempt year round. Though he also had 3 kids, a wife in school, and a mother in law to take care of all of which he claimed. He got a paycheck with no federal taken out and a small return every year aswell. This is just my personal experience's that worked for me, I am by far an expert.
