I drove to Chattanooga, Tenn this weekend and did the same exact thing and I was able to maintain an AVERAGE speed of 80mph. You'd be surprised how you can simply avoid it by paying attention to your surrounding's. Driving home last night I knew there would be Franklin County Sherriff's sitting on 71, so I did my usual 80 in the open area's and once I saw the bridge coming up I stepped into the slow lane, 1/2 miles up all i saw were brake lights. Only time('s) I have ever gotten a ticket is where I wasn't paying attention and/or distracted. I make this Chatanooga trip once a month and without a Radar detector. I still maintain an average speed of 80.

They JUST came out with the 997's. Motor Trend/Car and Driver has feature's on them this month I think, which means they should start selling in the next few week's/month's or so.

Link? Ive been pricing some stuff out for my jetta but its mostly FM transmitter's and I've heard they kinda suck b/c of reception problem's. I have steering wheel controls with my stock head unit too thats why i dont want to replace it. My jetta's an 05 so it will have somewhat 'modern' outputs in the back, im almost sure it will have one for satellite radio.

i was going to recommend an Ipod, simply b/c there SO popular that there's extra shit you can buy everywhere for them it seem's. Let me know how the Zune works out for you, im looking at buying something bigger for road trips. Also, how are you going to hook it up to your stock car stereo? do you have an aux input on it already? or FM transmitter. I was looking at something for my car but dont want an aftermarket head just to get an aux input.

John McCarthy did a great job officiating. He could've stoped it when he hit the ground, Liddell was clearly rattled but he let them go at it a few more seconds. When Chuck was on his back, he blacked out for a second and his arm's droped, thats why big John stepped in. Im just glad it was KO and not some BS early call by the ref.

Ok, its been said time and time again. Pay the ticket, tell her to fix her own damn brakes. Not sure if this has been brought up yet or not but why talk to her anymore if she's going to act like this? I went to Giant Eagle's 'get go' and their price was 3.49$, same as every gas station off bethel rd. If you have a giant eagle card they take off .03, if you scan your receipt that you spent at least 50.00, they take off .20 every gallon. Its not alot but when you consider your already buying groceries and if you buy 100.00 worth of groceries a week you get .40 off PER gallon. 3.06>3.49
