Do they have ANY control over your credit report? if no, then fuck him who cares. Move on with your life as you already have. If he can somehow effect your credit report/FICO score then I would take him to small claims court just to make sure that shit doesnt end up on your credit. If it was 90$ I might say just pay it to get him out of your life but I dont blame you for being totally unwilling to pay 340.00 bill. You at least have the right to ask what the bill is for and what services were rendered in order to charge you this amount. I would somehow record the answer to this in case it came up later in court, cover your ass b/c no one else will. If he says something rediculous like, "im charging you b/c i can" and you get it on tape, that will put the nail in his coffin in small claims court. This guy sounds like a complete asshole. Oh, and I dont think you have to do much convincing around here to get everyone to understand that that place is shady as hell. No one goes to them, at least no one who knows anything.

It's an older car, cleaning it wouldn't really do anything except get dirty again. Though i suppose his rotors could be turned or replaced, they look a bit rusty. Do you drive this car often?

Yes, i do. If you honestly think this guy doesn't want a piece after the fact. Girlfriend or not you think he's somehow 'above' cheating? It's not a question of being mature enough to understand a friends/friendly relationship. It's very possible to have a courteous 'friendly' relationship but almost impossible to have a true friend in someone who is an ex. It's a question of common sense. If he's your ex, then he's your ex for a reason. And that reason should prevent you from seeing him again, even in casual settings like you described. So in actuality it's not a "stupid theory".

I think he said 3 inches worth. My sister and her husband moved to cinci 2 years ago, while the house was on the market in the middle of the winter a pipe burst in the kitchen and flooded the whole house for 2 weeks without anyone knowing. Needless to say they had to hire a company to come out, thankfully insurance took care of everything past their deductable which included the 15,000$ finished basement and all the wall/flooring on the first floor as well. The clean up company got rid of EVERYTHING within a day or so. If the water touched any drywall/carpet get rid of it. It sounds like that was just at the bottom of the stairs so at least you lucked out. everything else I'd clean with bleach and a power washer if your not going to hire the company. How much would your monthly payments go up if you claimed this?

I just dont understand how the f150 made the final cut. I could think of 5 other cars that would be better suited for this type of race. and i agree, the lambo guys are complete choads. But it's an interesting show and i'll watch/tivo it. I tried to think of the best possible car to use for this sort of competition. Only one I can think of is an EVO.
