I'm in the process of searching for an Auto Tech school to attend in the summer/fall of '05. I would like some outside input on my decision, any other school's i should be considering? your personal experience with any school's (good or bad)? what would you recommend? So far my list include's: 1.Wyotech (blairsville, Penn) 2.Univ. Northwestern of Ohio (Lima,OH- No relation to NW in chicago) 3.Ohio Tech. inst. (cleveland) So far my main criteria is small class size, alot of hand's on interation, and geographic location, and some manufacter sponsored class/programs with some sort of job placement afterwards. Most of my family is in the process of moving to Cincy so it would be nice not to have a 3+ hour drive to go home. Any input/advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

To replace my shitty Ampro collection clothe's a watch from the Girl But what pissed me off the most was what my parent's got me. i got a new comforter for my bed and a AAA membership (i do own a dsm) but they got my sister a Coach purse! wtf? i found out the membership and the comforter cost88 and 50, do you think they could've found a Coach purse retail for 133??? bullshit, oh well.

I'm also considering buying a new car within the next 2 or 3 month's, most likely a truck. I have a close friend that use to work for Ricart sale's and he gave me some tips. First, don't finance through a dealership if you don't have to. Dealership is always looking to make more money off of you in any way possibly, however a bank and/or credit union is fighting for you buisness but it's usually harder to get approved with a bank. (note: Credit union's USUALLY have lower interest rates and finance to SOME people bank's won't) And what 'centralohiosubarus' said was completely true, it's always easier to finance a brand new car than it is a used car. interest rate's will be lower on a new car as well. I'd say keep saving or buy a car for 2 grand and wait another year or two to buy a new car. do you need a brand new car now as oppose to a year and a half down the road?

Have you considered any Audi's? From the list you've provided i would have to choose the CTS-V. Although i have heard stories of the shifter being a bit "rubbery". Guess you'll just have to drive them all to find out which one suit's you/her the most. And if your not completely sold on having a manual transmission, why not a Chrysler 300C?

wow i'm impressed. good job.

i stand corrected. wrong use of term's but hopefully you understand my point. The average person often make's a corrolation between 0-60 time and a vehicle's quickness. any car that can go 0-60 in 3.5 second's is fast, AWD or not. Does anyone know the 0-60 time for a stock srt-10 viper?
-
0-60 is the best representation of a vehicle's immediate throttle response, next to 1/4 mile times of course. and is most often recognized to defining a "quick" car. The AVERAGE person know's what a good 0-60 time is, but doesn't know what a good 1/4 mile time is. i agree that you could do more with a stock evo on a smaller budget. oh and supposably those "shark tooth" looking things are some sort of "air turbulator's" that help's reduce drag or something of the sort.

SOLD? if not, how much are you asking?

Ghey there were 87 unsolved homicide's in Minnesota last year. but it's ok b/c they are starting to focus on more important crime's now.

I'm looking to get back into playing hockey again. I use to play at sportsite off henderson rd. but they don't have any schedule's listed for the rollar hockey season. if anyone know's of any other place's that has a league or tournment's or another member to add to their roster, let me know. thanks

you say it's an "adult league" what is the minimum age requirement? 21y/o? i would definitly be interested but i work sunday nights.

AAA carry's them, i should know. when asked for a jump, the AAA driver grabbed it out of his backseat rather than pop his hood w/ jumper cable's in hand. Just curious how much did you pay for it. I've seen the crappy one's for around 20-30$ and the most expensive one's (with air compressor and light) for 150. i am contemplating buying one for the winter.

i totally agree. don't bother putting any video on the card either it's simply not big enough to get alot of quality video on it. tape it to the mini DV (which is a good choice btw) and use a firewire to put it on pc. As for software i would HIGHLY recommend Adobe Premiere. unfortunatly it cost's alot. you can get a student discount but it will still be an expensive program to buy outright. A good program to start off on is imovie from MAC, but of course you have to have a mac to get the free version, im not sure on the cost of buying imovie for PC. Imovie is easy to use and learn and is a fairly good program to start off on.

Damn i never knew so many people were like me. i was the same way all through school up until my senior year when i had a wakeup call and the counselor told me i wouldn't be graduating with my class. In the end the only motivation for me to actually try was to feed my need to "fit in". I hated the idea of not graduating with my class and being 'left behind'. So everyday, for 8 period's, i had 8 class's. All year. No lunch, no study hall's. And passed all but one. True alot of my friend's were busy having fun and going out and such, just enjoying being a senior b/c they had 2 or 3 class's a day. But in the end i was proud in myself and my own accomplishment's from what i had done. buck your son sound's like me at that age. However I didn't have the attention of my parent's like you are giving your child (which is a good thing). i suggest working with him as much as possible and feeding his interest's as well. It was the only thing that worked for me. bribery is nice but in the end won't work. same with medication. the med's they gave me were suppose to help me concentrate. but the reason why i wasn't concentrating in the first place is b/c nothing interested me.

i agree A-rod was shady in his action's. in reality he should've just put his shoulder into Arroyo b/c he was in the baseline anyway, but apparently that's not the focus of this thread anymore. yankee's have the best player's b/c the best player's want to be yankee's. True they offer, and pay what the best player's deserve but put in the same position what would you do? My point is their the best for a reason. for the same reason gary payton and karl malone went to LA, all the money any team gives you isn't worth it unless you are at the top with a ring to show for it. And who said you have to win the WS IN A ROW to be considered a dynasty? but no matter. it's not like they haven't won 4 championship's from 96'-2000. and made at LEAST a post season appearance since 95. yeah yankee's can't be a dynasty with a record like that. btw... it's not like boston has a small payroll either. second in payroll right behind NY.
-
your right, im blinded by my own zealous fanatic loyalty for a team that "sucks" answer this, out of the last 8 year's how many time's have the yankee's made the playoff's? won the WS? Beaten the sox? 2 year's doesn't make a dynasty (despite the fact that they did infact beat the team in question last season), but the last 8 most likely qualify for dynasty status. i am NOT a yankee's fan simply b/c they are good, or even b/c they are the best. i have and will always be a yankee's fan no matter if they lose this series (which they won't) or if they go on to the WS. in actuality i would have prefered the Met's to go but i gave up all hope after 86'. you don't have to agree with me, in fact i don't expect you to. but to deny the fact that the yankee's are a good team is ignorant.
-
it come's as no surprise to me that your a Michigan fan. to root on for a certain team out of pure spite is stupidity at it's highest level. there's a reason yankee's are a dynasty.

is this a command and conquer game?
