If i had family or knew ANYONE in Texas I'd be gone. I have some relatives in Florida but there is NOTHING down there, at least the area where they live anyway. Ive always wanted to try Texas though. Maybe Dallas or Austin? Not sure how much hockey they have down there.

wha???? really? the best Ice ive been on by far was Ice Haus. I skated at OSU one time when i was younger but dont remember much it was so long ago. Funny my neighbor saw me carrying in my hockey bag and said "i use to figure skate, you guys always hog all the ice time" I said, "you have a WHOLE PATCH of ice all to yourself in Easton!" Apparently she thought they were all the same size, eff the olympic size figure skating ice. Di, is the lunch and skate at easton like a dropin or just skating around in circles? i always hit up dublin dropin at 1130am, every now and then if i want to really challenge myself I'll go to the early dropin at the ice haus friday mornings. My girl and I went to Lowe's and picked out a nice Douglas Fir (i think at aleast) we got one about 6ft high for 40$ or so. WHy not just go to Lowe's or Home Depot to pick one up?

To the OP, i had the same sticker shock when a VW dealership quoted me $520 for a routine 40k mile (might have been 50k). When I asked what all was included it was routine maintenance, oil change with filter, top off all fluids check belts etc... blah blah blah. Basically absolutly NOTHING worth $520. Someone on here (I think it was Jones) recommended I try MotorKars in Grandview I went to them a few weeks ago and had awesome service at a great price. Hell they even did some service for free, they lubed my door hinge b/c it squeeked and even noticed my tire needed to be plugged b/c it had a slow leak. Those may seem small but a dealership would've charged me .5hrs to do that work. I understand not wanting to do your own work, and I understand not wanting to pay a rediculous amount to get it done. The only compromise is to find a quality shop thats not a dealership, right?

There was a pre-season email sent out to all CBJ PSL (season ticket) holder's with a code on it to get seats at a cheaper rate than regular box office, somehow it ended up on a pen's fan website and it circulated like crazy. Not to mention Pittsburgh always has a strong showing anyway but I think this just added to it. My friend was down there with his buddy from pittsburgh, he said at least 75% of the arena were pens fans, they alway travel real well (one of the few NHL teams that do) but that is just fucking rediculous. Then again had the Jackets at least shown up and beaten them it wouldnt have mattered right? ugh fucking aweful.

I think most ranges are open on sundays but you should call around if your going on a monday or tuesday, i know powder room and blackwing are closed mondays maybe tuesdays aswell.

I would but im really not exaggerating when i say he's almost twice my size. Im not small by any means 6' 220-230lbs depending how fat i am, but he is and has always been much bigger, 6'2-6'3" 300-330lbs, he's been fighting people his whole life and wouldnt hesitate to throw down with his own faimly. If it comes to that then i wont shy away but i wouldnt do it in front of the kids, and he would. Tim: My mother is the same way. Since our father passed when i was young she's always been very adamant (sp?) about all 5 of us staying close, which for the most part we have. But even she has a hard time with him. I would say i'd just keep my distance in the same way you have but i dont even have to try that hard. We live less than a mile apart and I NEVER see him. Maybe thats a blessing in disguise?

Ive always liked tacks and have heard that they do last forever and are very durable BUT at the cost of being heavier than the new competition (bauer, nike, reebok etc...) I have a slightly wider foot and didnt think my nike/bauer's would fit but they fit great. I always had a hard time finding inline hockey skates b/c they were always too narrow but my skates fit awesome. they've held up pretty well but i dont skate 5 hours a day everyday either. di i didnt know you played too? i thought you were just a crazy toronto fan? and sean, just b/c scotty has had them for 14 years doesnt mean hes USED THEM for 14 years. I already told him he needs to get back into it when he gets back.

Whenever he's around we usually walk on eggshells, Ive been sick of it for years but i never said anything until last night. I hate to say i'd dissown him but i dont see any way he and i would continue a relationship now. Which is crazy, me and my oldest brother are real close we hang out all the time. Hockey Stop off Bethel Road. They have a pretty decent selection and I would guess they'd be bigger selection than Dicks considering they're a hockey only store. Im still on my first pair after playing several times a week for about 2 years and I love my pair of Nike Bauer's. You might be able to find better prices online but i didnt trust buying my first pair of skates without being able to try them on first. If I remember correctly I think they run a size smaller than your shoe size, but i could be wrong. Maybe its the same rule for figure skates??? Sean's been playing longer than me, maybe he'll chime in here. As far as make/model thats personal preference but if your buying locally DEFINITLY go to Hockey Stop. Are you getting into playing hockey or just want different skates? Ive been trying to get my GF to play but shes a bit reluctant.

I bought my brother the same exact gun last christmas for 430.00 but it came with a tac light. Nice gun, defiitly more bulky or 'thicker' than my Glock 26 but still nice.
