I've gotta agree with this. We picked up Dubie off waivers from the islander's and he's not great (putting it nicely) in the few games he did start he did horrible. However LaCosta (the primary goalie from syracuse) was a pleasant surprise in the handful of games he started while Mason was out sick. I think Vermette is a great move. He might not be that natural, top line center or big name everyone wanted (spezza, Jokinen anyone?) but with that big name comes a big attitude to bring into a locker room that has really gelled well this year. Jokinen is a great center but rumor has it he's a locker room cancer and at this point in the year it would be horrible for out team. Its arguable that Calgary spent way too much on Jokinen but we'll see how that turns out for them in their playoff run.

This was a debated topic in my CCW class. Do we notify if we have our license or if we're carrying? Does that make sense? So if im in a traffic stop do i say "officer I have my license but im not carrying" or vice versa? I took the 'better safe than sorry' route and assumed I would make the officer aware regardless.

I would suggest taking anyone of the CCW course's at the places you mentioned (i would go to Blackwing though). Even if your just looking for general gun handling skills and training you'll get that in a CCW course as well as training how to propering clean and shoot your weapon. And in the end you'll be eligible for your CCW permit. Even if you never carry or dont want to at least you'll have the option along with the training. But if your just looking for some general guidance I'd take Greg up on his offer. When the weather gets warmer I want to take a defensive shotgun class at Blackwing. Yes shotguns are easy to load and shoot but I grew up in NY where owning guns in a big no no so my family was never gun friendly.

ha, ive done similar scenario's. Now that im carrying more often what happens if i see an Officer at Jersey Mikes or the corner store or somewhere public. I dont want to cause trouble or panic among regular non-ccw people but I dont want to come off as threatening to the officer if im just trying to do my civic duty and let him know. I think there's too many variable's and too many different situation's, its just going to have to be Apparently there was a written memo sent around CPD saying that should the officer run your plates and already be aware that you have a ccw it's not the permit holder's responsibility to inform them anymore seeing as how they have already been made aware. The law's and stipulation's on this are always changing so better safe than sorry i suppose.

If you dont use it for working out or watching vid's id get 120gig classic (damn i didnt even know they made them in 120gig). I have a shit ton of cd's, only half of which are on my hard drive and i think ive only got like 10gigs of music. My 4g mini goes with me in the car, work and the gym.
