You dont use lawyer's in small claims court. Sure he could consult a lawyer to ask him what to do and about the situation but that will definitly cost money. And this is a public forum, he's going to get lots of differing opinions on what he should/shouldnt do and what the outcome may or maynot be. Personally, I think that if your name was not on any paperwork (the lease) held by the apartment leasing office (not the copy of the lease held by your friend) then you shouldn't be held liable for the rent. Never the less you should be prepared and have a full explanation and hopefully paperwork to back it up to the judge. Any witness statements or "testimonies" might help, might go overboard but all of it should help. Dont forget to wear your best suit too. goodluck.

Yeah a VW dealer quoted me that rediculous price. I asked the service writer to detail what exactly would be done. Basically they would replace all the filters and fluid, rotate the tires and an oil change. fucking crazy. Of course I went elsewhere. Its strange I did most of the general maintenance stuff on my 1g Talon but havent really touched my jetta. Maybe Im afraid I'll break it? You are right though. As a whole VW/Audi's fit and finish are above all else. I think thats really what your paying for when you buy one.

I worked there for several years. When they use the term "part time" they are simply saying that your a non-union worker. Trust me you will get 40+ hours by working there. However your OT pay will only start after 40hrs (as in any other job). Dont ask me why they call it "part time" when your really not its just the term they have used since starting the union there. However, once you go "fulltime" and become part of the union and on the seniority list, your pay goes up to 15.xx I think and your benefits are a hell of alot better. Mostly due to union contract stipulations and such. I will warn you, back in the day guys worked there for 2+ years before going 'fulltime', sometimes longer. I dont know what its like for part timer's there now though. I do know they're behind on work and need people like crazy.

Honestly the only job in that type of field that I've heard of lately is the Kroger warehouse in Delaware off 36/37. Its shitty order selector type job but you will get a shit ton of OT and they start around 12-13 I THINK, dont quote me on that.

Just like to point out, I do like VW's especially for their fit and finish. while the price may be somewhat competitive with its competition, albeit on the higher side. VW usually makes up for it in their maintenance costs. Last i saw a simply 30k mile checkup on my 05 Jetta costs around $550. Sure you could get the service done elsewhere but threaten voiding the warranty at the sametime. I actually like the Fit. As for the "it looks gay, or its a girls car". I drive a jetta and an eclipse... I know bitch cars when I see them. Just buy a black one with optional 17inch wheels and tint the windows and your good to go

The OP is right though. Tips arent neccessarily required or just expected. Im usually really generous even with average service but if you reward bad behavior then it will just breed more bad behavior. So you give this asshole 15%, the next customer comes in and he acts even more like a prick and expects to be rewarded? fuck that. Oh and I expect my server to make an occassional mistake, thats cool. But at the very least apologize and make it right.

Theres a place called Video Game and Music Exchange off Smokey road. They usually buy shit depending on what you have. Your best bet is to not go in there with everything you have, just take a little bit at a time I think your more likely to get more money that way. From your area on Smokey just go North, past Hard about a mile or two its in a strip mall on the left with a gas station and a drive through.

I'd go for either of them honestly. Yeah they're not superstars but being a fan it would be pretty cool to meet one of those guys. Federov and Zherdev use to come into the club all the time when they were with the jackets. Federov was a really nice guy actually, Zherdev just always looked confused.
