  1. Good to know Derek, we'll be in contact next time I need rubber.
  2. +1 for 35%. I never had a problem with getting hassled.
  3. I missed it doing stuff around the house before the pop-up rain came through. Hope you all stayed dry. I'll try to make one in August.
  4. Hey, I'm Adam from Pickerington. I found the forum through a friend who is on here and am interested in the local motorhead scene and meets. I met a few of you at Cars and Coffee last week, but not sure if that's associated with this site. Anyway, my DD is a 1999 Camaro SS that's pretty much stock, unfortunately. I'm sure there are a few other LSX geeks around that I'd like to chat with, I'm looking to start toying around with it slowly while still keeping it as my DD. The stock wheels are powdercoated black, the front black grill is removed, SLP quad exhaust, SLP short shifter, CAGS removed, K&N drop-in filter, and pump 93 (yes I know, not a mod, I just hear good things about E85 conversions and that has me thinking...). I'm looking to do my first real power mod soon, just trying to watch my budget, thinking about headers, y-pipe, tune, cam, and lower it an inch or so. Here are a few pics from my phone. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a362/adamgh81/IMG_0354.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a362/adamgh81/IMG_0362.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a362/adamgh81/Camaro/Picture001.jpg My other DD when it's nice out is a 2003 Honda RC51 (RVT1000R) that has some fun mods. 24,500 miles and counting, 999cc V-Twin motor, Sato Racing Exhaust, Sato Frame Sliders, 520 DID Chain conversion with 15/41 gearing, CRG Roll-a-Click Shorty Clutch and Brake Lever, Carbon Fiber Tank Guard, Dussalt Undertail and light integration. I'm sure there are more items I forgot to add... http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a362/adamgh81/RC51/CIMG4457.jpg I've had a few other fun cars in the past, not as sporty but just as fun to play with in the garage. I look forward to seeing some nice rides. Let the roasting begin!
  5. I know a few of you here mount cycle tires, and I thank you. The 2 people I have used have been great. Does anyone mount truck tires? I will need 2 tires mounted on my winter beater, 1988 Chevy 1500 4x4. Let me know if anyone can help out. Thanks.
  6. I'm heading down if anyone wants to join in Pickerington around 0730.
  7. yep, i've replaced 2 for free after calling them. Took about a week to arrive.
  8. Hoblick installed a set of tires for me last weekend, great job! Thanks again man!
  9. Axle is finally off!! Entire can of penetrating oil and a sledge hammer after spraying it daily for a week. Now need order new bearings and possibly axle & nut (seems to still be in good condition).

  14. This thing is not moving out of the wheel at all. I wonder what a shop would charge to get it out. It's always a simple 15 min job that blows up in my face and takes days.
  15. I've removed my wheels numerous times, but yesterday I attempted a quick wheel removal to have new rubber installed. I loosened the chain and attempted to pull out the axle but it will not move. I tried to smack it with a rubber mallet with no joy then sprayed it down with wd40. Nothing. I held a 2x4 up to the axle and hit it with a normal hammer a few times, again, no movement. Last night I purchased some penetrating oil, lubed it and lubed it again this morning. Again, nothing. Any suggestions before I throw the RC on my trailer and take her somewhere?
  16. Under 3000 miles? I think I've already ridden 3k this season. Anyway, clean Triumph, GLWS!
  17. I'm in, let me know if anyone around Pickerington/SE Columbus wants to meet up and ride to IP together around 0845.
  18. Great purchase man! If/when I get rid of my RC, a late model VFR800 will probably replace her as well.
  19. I understand about not being comfortable, but that's not what the RC's are made for. Good luck with the sale, let me know if you wanna trade for an 03, haha. I like the black.
  20. Jared, you may eventually get a new bike, but you will NEVER get rid of this machine! Simply awesome man!
  21. I haven't tried in a while, but the last times I checked, no.
