  1. So true, I only crank the stereo when I'm TRYING to save fuel. Even then Ill crack the window and mash the gas to hear the real tunes. Congrats on the new ride, I've always wanted a CTS-V.
  2. I'm surprised that's not in Ohio. I've seen way too many stupid drivers.
  3. Clean Talon, I loved my 92 even tho it was only FWD and non-turbo, GLWS!
  4. Ryan is a good dude, quality work and excellent prices!
  5. Ahhhh, of course it's finished after I leave...
  6. Nice and clean LSX. bump, GLWS.
  7. Just a few from my phone http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a362/adamgh81/46b96250.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a362/adamgh81/b5cb9ddb.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a362/adamgh81/e178688e.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a362/adamgh81/641cfb7d.jpg
  8. 1st one of the year for me. Wifey is copiloting, hopefully she won't get too bored too quick.
  9. Both tie rods replaced by a shop and I replaced the wheel bearing. Headed to IPS soon for an alignment! She drives so quietly and smoothly again, thanks guys, and many many thanks to Cordell for taking the time to come over and teach me a thing or two! I owe you lunch sometime. For all GM work that you don't want to do yourself, go to Cordell!
  10. Thanks Scott! Already dropped it off and will call your dad in the morning.
  11. Rotated the tires and the same sound continues. Like something is spooling up and really moves around 45 mph.
  12. Tires are Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S with even tread left, 7/32 to 8/32" on both fronts. I haven't rotated them this year yet, so maybe that would help.
  13. No, engine speed and RPM's makes no difference in the noise. Car must be in motion above 25-30 mph, and gets louder with speed. Kind of like a humming noise...my wife just turns the radio up louder
  14. Ok, drove her again and then jacked her up...I think I was wrong about a bad wheel bearing because I don't hear shit when turning and driving or when its in the air spinning the wheel by hand...I didn't notice any play in the wheel either. So I popped the hood and noticed the clutch fan was a little loose...could it be that making this noise?
  15. Ah, I didn't think about half of you guys work with or have access to lifts. :megusta:
  16. Thanks for the advice! I'll jack it up tomorrow and spin the wheels. I don't have the balls to put it in gear up to 25 mph on jack stands in my garage, so I'll stick to your first method. Good to know, NAPA is next door to cheapzone. I think I've been to NAPA more often lately due to the quality factor.
  17. My wife's 03 Trailblazer, 4x4 I6 with 133k, has started to make a noise that starts at about 25-30 mph and gets louder with speed. I don't think it's engine related as I can put it in neutral, coast and hear the same sound. My question is how do I know for sure it's a wheel bearing and how do I know which side? I can't tell which side the noise is coming from when driving. It doesn't make a noise at slow speeds or while turning... Any advice is welcome. Thanks!
  18. Congrats on your decision! I'll have 12 years in a few days, Air National Guard. 2A3: F-16 crew chief, 6 yrs 2R1: F-16 Production controller, 5 yrs 1N0: Operations Intelligence Analyst, 1 yr
  19. I'm interested in getting a truck cap for my 88 Chevy K1500. 8 foot bed. I'm looking for something around $40 as there are a handful of them on craigslist for that price. No broken windows, prefer black or maroon, but may consider others. Not looking for anything real nice, just something cover the bed and keep stuff dry. I would like to be able to toss a lock on the rear glass, if possible or would like keys if you have a lockable cap. I'm not in a real hurry, but would like to find one over the next few months. Let me know if you have one you'd like to get rid of, thanks.
  20. I rode in 09 & 10, but it started to get too busy for my liking. I will continue to support the cause and my volunteer if I'm around that weekend. It was great to ride through downtown with police holding traffic and people cheering for the first hour. The downside of that first hour was was the 5 mph average to get all 2500-4000 riders out of the city and spread out a little. Good luck in fundraising and the ride!
  21. 48 votes and 52.75%....I think you've got it made.
  22. Where is the Easton meeting place to head east? I'm out this weekend but would like to make a few this year.
  23. I liked the retro look for a hot minute and I loved the 70's split nose, but this is 2012...they need to move the Fbody forward, not backward.
