    Ironman

I saw iron man on Thursday. I thought it was pretty decent, especially since I went in assuming it was going to suck (ala Hulk, Fantastic 4). I didn't see the preview for the new Hulk, but it certainly can't be as bad as the last attempt.
  3. Somebody had a curfew....
  4. The weather for tomorrow is looking good. Where/when are you guys meeting up?
  5. I might be down. It just depends on the weather. Current forecast for the Canton area for sunday is 58 and 40% chance of rain. I don't mind cooler weather, but I'm a big baby about getting rained on.
  6. Definitely have to be rockin' the white shoes like WhoDey to qualify to buy that car.
  7. Yeah, sign up for the test tomorrow. If you have your CISA, you should definately be fine with a month to study. There is a lot of overlap in material between the 2. I was told to go ahead and take the CISA in June because of that, but quite frankly, I don't have it in me to do any more studying right now. I'm perfectly content to wait till Dec for that.
  8. I'm not up on all the details, but from what I understand they are dropping all the TCSEC/ITSEC stuff and replacing it with Common Criteria stuff completely, amongst other changes. I think the ISC2 website has more details. You might as well get it over with now. A month is about right for studying I think. Any more and you'll burn yourself out, any less and you won't be prepared. I started studying abougt 6 weeks prior, but ended up being lax due to the weather getting nice. There is a test on May 31 in Dayton. Go get yourself the Shon Harris book, and maybe the dummies book or sybex one as a secondary source. Given your job, you probably know most of the material already, so with a month to study you should be able to pull it off. You have your CISA already right?
  9. Are you taking it before June 1st? Thats the cutoff date for the exam content/format change. Be sure to bring your own #2 pencils and erasers. The ones ISC2 provide suck. It's a tough one, good luck with it. www.cccure.org for test prep questions if you didn't already know.

    I Passed!

Woohooo!!!!!!!!! I just got my confirmation telling me that I passed the CISSP examination. I don't know what was more stressful, the time leading up to the test or the 10 day wait to get my results. Excuse me while I go kill my liver a bit to celebrate.
  11. Post a screenshot. Probably some sort of malware.
  12. WTF happened? you wreck or did someone hit your bike with a dump truck?
  13. SSS Shoot. Shovel. Shutup.
  14. Hey, you aren't going out to LV for CEIC are you?
  15. I agree on the keyboard warrior crap, its kinda old. I'd actually like to see these knuckleheads say this shit in person, duke it out, and move on/grow up. I'll pass on the hug, but you boys have fun.
  16. I think you took that the wrong way. No need to get pissy. Nothing wrong with being an "asshole" and ribbing some friends.
  17. The winner, and still champ, r1crusher. I bow before your assholeness.
  18. Midwest over in Green/Uniontown? I almost bought a bike from them, but the salesguy got pretty smug with me when I said I wasn't paying 1400 over bluebook for the privilege of buying a bike from them. Mind you, it needed turn signals, a mid fairing, and they had put some track take offs on it that were shot.
  19. Maybe we ought to organize a weekday ride and all play hooky from work? Maybe take the back way to columbus and do lunch with some of the columbus folks?
  20. at least someone understands my work related angst.
  21. We''ll be waiting for the official postmortem report, and next time, put this into change control man.
  22. Let's scrap it. Unforseen circumstances have arised and I am no longer free tomorrow. Let's shoot for one evening next week or perhaps the weekend.
  23. I don't know what was worse for him, getting kicked out, or the aftermath of telling me.
  24. If I don't pass my test saturday, I'll have to find a new job. I don't know if I'll be able to cope with the ridicule. It's a rough crowd in our infosec group. We don't let ANYTHING slide.
