  1. My bad, apparently my functionally retarded self can't cut n paste to save my life.
  2. For those of you who don't know, I was pretty involved in Olympic style shooting at the collegiate level (ohio state pistol team). I've had friends on the US National Team, trained with Olympians, etc.... Needless to say, the folks on the US shooting teams are near and dear to my heart. A good friend of mine that I competed against in college sent me this and asked me to post this on the forums I frequent. A friend and mentor of his, Lones Wigger, is eligible for the Olympic Hall of Fame. Lones has set numerous world records and has proudly represented the United States in multiple Olympic competitions as a rifle shooter. On top of that, he's a retired Army Lt. Col. who did two tours of duty in VietNam. The Olympic committee has opened the selection process up to the public by allowing us to cast a vote in an online poll that is open until March 28. You can vote once a day, so please vote often! Let's strike a blow for shooters everywhere by making sure that Lones Wigger is the inductee into this year's Olympic Hall of fame. Please go to the following url and cast your vote for Lones: - U.S. Olympic Hall Of Fame - » 2008 Nominees: Individuals
  3. How about we try to rally the troops and do dinner/drinks one night this week? Perhaps QSL in Valley View?
  4. I think the only good riding towards Cleveland has to be through the Cuyahoga Valley. I'll usually ride Riverview Rd up to QSL. There are quite a few decent roads through that whole area. Other than that, you have to hit south of Canton.
  5. I wonder if we could get a discount for arranging our own group?
  6. I've been looking into this since the bike show. My buddy, myself, and my dad are looking at the alps&lakes tour for june 09. If that goes well, I'd like to do their germany, austria, italy/moto gp race tour the following year. Hell, I might even be able to put all those years of German in HS/College to use more than asking directions to the bathroom in the Frankfurt airport.
  7. speaking of pictures. Surely someone has a picture of Satan and CBRgirl in their cute matching outfits, right?
  8. Glad you didn't quit your day job for the motivational speaking gig, really a good choice.
  9. As always, any attempt to meet up with the ohioriders crew ends up being bad for me. Last time, I wrecked before I even got there. This time, I make it up there with folks from work, run into Satan, then spend the rest of my evening and today in total agony with a horrific cold. I felt absolutely FINE right up until I ran into Satan. I swear this site is cursed.
  10. highside, 1 mile from home. There was a thread about it.
  11. I'll be there sometime around 11am.
  12. The cleveland crew is definitely lacking in anything that resembles organizational skills compared to the columbus crew. hell, the last time I tried to meet up with anyone from the board I ended up in the hospital!
  13. Anyone up for meeting up for dinner next week?
  14. I'm partial to Shiner Bock. It's sometimes hard to find at bars in Ohio, but its damn tastey.
  15. You should so do it Sinner. Only downside is the weather probably won't cooperate.
  16. If my bike was red, I'd totally do this.
  17. We had a couple snow days when I went to OSU. It was either 03 or 04 and they called off school for Monday on a Sunday night. I went sledding where the band practice field is out on west campus that night. There was a giant dirt mound there from the various construction projects. Something like 5k kids out on the Oval having a snowball fight.
  18. I don't recall trying to take your swingline stapler away.
  19. Or at the very least, avoid you unless I'm wearing body armor and have a lawyer in tow.
  20. Man, if I end up taking a job in columbus, I'm steering clear of you folks.
  21. Normally, I'd say bring it as we have to do an external pentest soon. I'm our main Incident Response guy and I need to test the SIM product I'm putting in. However, our main pen guy is so friggin good its unbelievable. In fact, I should give you his info given your line of work.
  22. Easy, just befriend your infosec guy and you're set. And in other news, I have an IBM SAN coming in the next day or two for my SIM environment in my lab. Thirty-six 146gig, 15krpm drives in a raid 1+0 format, 4gig fibrechannel uplink.
  23. Novell was in the OS/domain/server category. Cisco stays more in the layer2/3 or security market with their acquisitions. I've not seen anyone run Novell since I interned with the Feds 4 years ago. I'm sure there are still some big implementations out there, hell, goodyear still runs Lotus Notes for their email system.
