weather looks good. When should we meet? -
holy crap. I've not been able to find it online, only the russian red army stuff. I wonder if they will sell me just the grenade separately? In warsaw it was ~300 zloty which is roughly 100US.
-
I got the first ak bottle in Warsaw last year. I got the second bottle and the bullet bottle tonight from a coworker that is in the US for training. I'll post pics probably tomorrow, assuming I ever find my camera.

I just landed another bottle of Red Army Vodka. Comes in a wooden crate and the bottle is in the shape of an AK-47. The first one I got had a second bottle in the shape of a grenade, but this one is lacking that. I also picked up a bottle of polish vodka from Debowa called Military 50, in the shape of a bullet. I'll post pics tomorrow.

I can't believe how hard it is to get decent customer service *rant*

You could try the JR Alter Ego 2.0 jacket. I have the 1.0, and its pretty decent for an "all weather" jacket. Has a nylon liner thats great for blocking the cold/wind in the lower temps. The textile will zip off and leave you with a mesh jacket. My only gripes are A) my dumbass bought an all black one, so I roast in days like today no matter what B) the liner is supposed to be waterproof, but it doesn't breath at all so you end up so soaked in sweat you might as well have not used it. The 2.0 appears to be a big improvement. I definately feel your pain about finding local places to try shit on/buy shit. Seems the best selection in the akron/canton area I've found is the new Rousch motorsports in Medina, right off of 18 & 71. -

Barring any july 4th drunken debauchery, I'm in. -
thats past my bedtime, I may only be 25, but I'm getting to be an old man.
-
define late.
-
I'll have to see about that. I've still not really taken the new bike out, just up and down my road due to lack of plates. If we hit cbus, I demand that we go to Thermans for lunch.
-
I'll take a silver one.

Nice area to ride around Valley View (Cleveland area)
walther_gsp replied to thomez's topic in Events
I'm not too far from you. I'm just South of Kent. Near suffield/hartville. -
Who is in for a ride Sunday? I just picked up a new bike the other night, so I'm dying to get out there. We could do a Valley View ride and meet up at QSL, or we could do the Atwood Lake loop and meet up at the Strip in North Canton. Thoughts?

Her house is literally 2 minutes from my office. It was really great seeing the TONS of people out searching for her. Although the cynic in me knew they weren't going to find her anywhere in the North Canton area.

Is there an organized sport bike group in Cleveland?!?!?
walther_gsp replied to InyaAzz's topic in Events
We need to get together and get some rides/activities going on in the Akron/Cleveland area. We're way lame up here compared to the crew in Columbus. As soon as I get a new bike, I'll try to organize a ride. Some of the guys I occasionally ride with hit the Atwood Lake region for a loop. It's a pretty good ride. Perhaps we could also ride down to Columbus one day. 93 to 36 to 16 to 161 into Columbus is a nice ride. -
A bunch of my relatives are going, but I'll be at the Cleveland Grand Prix since I'm bikeless at present. Hopefully I can go next year. I've always wanted to do this one.
-
We just need to find you a really big hill to try again on.
-
Thanks satan. I missed 2 of those in my searching. One is the ad for the buy that backed out on me thursday night.
-
03-04 R6. I'm just going to have to get used to the fact that I'll be bikeless for a little while. Hopefully the twitching will stop soon.

So far this week, I've had 1 bike sold out from under me, and another seller back out. The two other bikes I've called about were literally just sold last night. I took the day off of work with the intentions of driving to columbus to pick up a bike, now I'm stuck in front of the computer feverishly searching. I have just had no luck with this. Earlier this year, I had a bike lined up, and had a nice 10mph lowside on my old bike while delivering it to a buyer. I just can't win.

I'm in as long as work doesn't send me to defcon.
