  1. State farm, been there since I started driving. Bike is like 240 a year for liability, and truck is 1200 per year. I think I've a got a clean record, I had some shit in the past but i'm pretty sure it's all gone now. I think the bike insurace is a fair price, but the truck ins is absolutely fucking ridiculous. It's way too much, but I'm too lazy to look elsewhere. The farm has ALWAYS been very good about any claims I've made, and taken care of everything very quickly, and cleanly. I guess thats the real reason I stay with them.
  2. Honestly, it looks 1000 times better. plus looks like ya washed it. hope that the transmission dipstick tube is working out for ya!!!
  3. I like the tralier idea, that would be a good thing to have. I also like Jeffs idea about another Fbody. I honestly don't think you'd be happy with anything less than 8 cylinders. Although 3rd gen supras are pretty nice.
  4. I like boots if I"m gonna be on the highway and cruising for long periods of time. If I'm gonna be in traffic, and have to do a lot of shifting, my reeboks are the win, shifting with my boots on just feels weird.
  5. I'd probally looking a vaccum leak somewheres.....
  6. Yes, thats correct, it's free, and it works. at least it did until I unplugged it. Now, it is OLD. it's color, and does not have any weird picture quirks. I think it's a sears brand, something 3000 or whatever. It has a coaxial jack on the back, and I believe an old school antenna jack. Not sure if it has the composite connectors or not. Too old for svideo or component. This item will need to picked up from my house. It has a remote, it works too. This TV is a piece of furniture. I think it's like a 27inch or something, but the whole box like probally like 3feet wide. it's the old school console thing. has 2 speakers, both work. All it needs is a new home and a ride there. I'll post pics tommorow. PM me, or if you have it call my cell.
  7. anti seize should always be your best friend
  8. shadow sleeps in the garage, no problems here.
  9. no. Thats only like 3k per year. I know that I put like 6 or 7k on the shadow last year alone, and thats only with like 2months of auctual "riding season".
  10. yep, it was me. You seemed pretty wound up in all that was going on, so I just watched and chuckled to myself.
  11. I agree, you need a gun, to shoot the bitch, and the new boyfriend, friends just don't do that kind of shit to eachother. I think a 12ga would the job nicely.
  12. Volkswagons=teh suck. If you ever have to work on it yourself, you'll see why I say that. I guess that the german engineers see things differently than the rest of the world. And this goes for all the kraut boxes. I am strongly opposed to "german engineering".
  13. I'd bet that it's aluminum, should be easy enough to get out with a decent easy-out set
  14. how much horse power does it have? have you had it to the track?? if so what did it run??
  15. I have a truck, and consistantly drive it about 5-10 over the limit, I do accelerate rather slowly, but I make up for it when I get to speed. I don't ride the left lane unless I need to pass, and if I'm passing and you fucking fly up my tail, it's cool until I can no longer see your headlights, if you're that close, I'll probally try my best to make you purchase a new bumper and tailgate for me. After I pass I move over to the right. Thats how I believe that driving should be handled. I HATE TAILGATERS, and make it point to show them I don't like them being that close.
  16. I have a honda shadow 1100, granted it's an 89, I don't think that engine, or the bike for that matter has changed all that much. The shadow pulls pretty well up to 85, then you have to shift to 4th, and it'll still go, but not impressively fast. I'd deffinately opt for the 1100, espically since you'll be doing some 2 person riding. A v-twin engine is a very different beast from the inline 4's in sport bikes. Much lower redline, usually signifigantly less horse power, but they tend to make torque, and a lot faster than a sportbike.
  17. hey ant, your engine looks like it's coming along nicely. Oh, and those who go to a gay school, must surely also be gay. that is all.
  18. It's not worth the hassle. Sell the v6 car, and then purchase a GT. It's already done for ya at that point.
