  1. as far as local places, for a bike like that Iron Pony will have much of the things you need, the honda dealer is a good source. Also Dennis Kirk, I've always used their online services for the stuff I have purchased from them. http://www.denniskirk.com Theres also a motorcycle salvage yard close to downtown, its called the rice paddy, I've used them before as well. hope this was of some use to ya. Rick
  2. ya know what really vexes me?? people that waited in line in the cold and rain, got what they waited for, and now are doing what they intended to do with it, and you fag asses have all these problems with it, you want an "advertising fee" or you feel like you were slapped in the face? Or you feel that you are a "real gamer" and are pissed because you're too fat and lazy to fucking wait in line like those with true ambishion? Get the fuck over it, you all know if you knew then what you know now, you'd have been in line too. Fuck off and get over yourself. Capatalism for the fucking win. If you don't like it, Get the fuck outta this country. Seriously.
  3. 614 I also am a mechanic, woopdey fucking doo, like it's something special??!! I've worked on all kinds of cars from kia and hyundai and daewoo, to caddys, and bimmers and mercedes. The truth of the matter is that all cars are junk, even more so if you do not take care of them. I've seen honda's with low miles and newer years that were not in as good shape as "lowly" hyundais that were years older, and had 100000 more miles on the clock, why, because of maintainance. Your opinion is your opinion, and you're more than welcome to it. But If you're gonna claim a car is "inferior" because of personal preferance, I feel that you should back it up. Inferior metal my big ass thats pretty weak, honestly.
  4. I'll trade you my pet rock for it?!!??! bump
  5. HA, I got to see her do that live, my brother had to hold the can while she crushed it. She owns a titty bar in pennsylvania not too far from my familys hunting camp. It was fucking hilarious when marc was holding the can and she smashed it!!
  6. jeff did have a 1 or 2 digit member number, and it was also my birthday, i'm 23 now, woopdey fucking doo
  7. I know the feeling adam, I deffinately hear ya.
  8. Wow, thats absolutely horriable. I hope they are able to find the killer, and then there should be a public hanging. Honestly, public hangings FTW.
  9. true. N. Korea needs to be stopped. End of story. Fuck Kim Jong, and all that bullshit. Send in some elite forces shit and end him.
  10. on newer and luxury high end vehicles there is a cabin air filter, this installs in the air intake for the cabin and keeps shit out of the evaporator case. some of the filters even have a layer of carcoal to filter out any disagreable odors. but a 1995 econoline did not have this feature as an option. at first it was only the high end luxury cars, now they are statring to implement it in most passenger cars.
  11. bump for one of cleanest probes i've seen, and I generally don't like FWD's
  12. sounds to me like theres a build up of "shit" in the heater box. take all apart and clean out, smell should go away.
  13. Ant, the 80's pretty much sucked for music, and well most everyting else. You have bad taste.
  14. Evan, I'm very intrested, lets talk some about this, PM, email, or call me, Mike has my number if you do not. -Rick
  15. can you specify whats involved in "deluxe" vs. "ultimate". Thanks Rick ******Edit, never mind, I need to read the post and check the links before asking questions. Thanks
  16. it sucks, but it's not really all that bad. theres harder stuff to do out there. and yes the engineers did design it to fail. I guess that theres no money in auctually making a vehicle that is not going to break down at certain mileage intervals.
  17. Beer>any kind of coffee. No exceptions. Period.
  18. My brother purchased a 2000 GP, 3.8 like 85K blah blah blah... Well it started doing this as well, took back to dealer where was purchased, they said it was an ignition missfire. So 450 bucks later (and me yelling at dad for paying that when his eldest son is a mechanic) 2 new coil packs, plugs, and wires it's still doing it. Took said car back to dealer, the DEALER techs can't find the cause. Find some TSB that was "slightly" relavant to the problem, and replaced the TPS. Big surprise, car was still doing it. Well marc was with out car for about a week, when he decided to trade it back in and get something else. About 2 days after Marc picked a newer, much more expensive pre-owned vehicle, the "factory trained" techs figured out the problem. The torque converter clutch solenoid was faulty inttermittently, which is what I had suspected all along, and TOLD the dealership. But no one listened to me. So The torque converter clutch solenoid is also something that you may want to consider.
  19. I had a saturn, I drilled holes in the muffler, installed a pink exhaust tip, (which fell off soon after) cut the shifter stick so it would be a "short throw" Installed an e-bay version of "coil over" suspension, strut tower brace, also had blue neons, the cheapest strobe lights I could find, windshield washer squirty lights, a couple of different stickers, removed the rear seat and built a base to mount a sub box, oh yeah, and to top it all off, I had the e-bay blue headlights on her. And cheap ass ricer fog lights as well, it also had glowing pedals, they were red. Basically I'm pretty sure that I win. Although I don't remember ever having the typical "ricer" attitude.
  20. You're all welcome. And it's true, I'm pretty damn good at reparing cars, I just can't stand doing it professionally anymore.
