I hardly think that sitting on a pontoon boat, fishing, and drinking like 6-8 beers over a 5-6 hour period is "rolling the dice" any more than not consuming the beer at all. That amount of beer over that period at my weight is like drinking water. I just like the taste. So to all of you "roll of the dice" people, stop gaying up my thread. P.S. Thanks to all who posted something revlant to the question I asked.

5'10" dad is about the same, bro is like 6'3" or something

see, i'm planning on getting on a boat with some buddies, doing a little fishing, and drinking a few beers, not drinking to point where I'm puking or anything, and yes I realize that you can hide the beer, or whatever, but I was just wondering if it was legal for me drink and fish on a boat, a boat which I have absolutely no intention of operating. Thats really all I wanted to know.

Mike Haze=winner of this thread, that is one ugly face (Yes I know it's a photo chop)

Is it legal to drink in a boat, provided that you (the drinker) are not operating the craft??? I was un-able to find any info in the DNR's regulations stuff. I did see that the law and limit was the same for a boat operator as it is for an operator of a car, but I'm curious about passengers being able to drink while on a boat.

Honestly in that situation, you did the right thing. I would not have been as mature as you were, so my hats off to ya. I think all you can do at this point is file a police report and contact your insurance company. I wonder if you were to retrive the piece of the eclipse that hit you if you might be able to get any info off of that??? I dobut it but may be worth a try.

this may be old, or a re-post or whatever, but I recieved it in an e-mail today and found it to be very funny, so I decided to post it in here > This is so true! They always ask at the doctor's office, "why you are there and you say in front of others what's wrong and sometimes it's embarrassing. There's nothing worse than a Doctor's Receptionist who insists you tell her what is wrong with you in a room full of other patients. I know most of us have experienced this, and I love the way this old guy handled it. An 86-year - old man walked into a crowded Doctor's Waiting Room. As he approached the desk, the Receptionist said, "Yes sir, what are you seeing the Doctor for today?" "There's something wrong with my dick," he replied. The Receptionist became irritated and said, "You shouldn't come into a crowded Doctor's Room and say things like that." "Why not? You asked me what was wrong and I told you," he said. The Receptionist replied, "You've obviously caused some embarrassment in this room full of people. You should have said there is something wrong with your ear or something and discussed the problem further with the Doctor in private." The man replied, "You shouldn't ask people things in a room full of others, if the answer could embarrass anyone." The man walked out, waited several minutes and then re-entered. The Receptionist smiled smugly and asked, "Yes?" "There's something wrong with my ear," he stated. The Receptionist nodded approvingly and smiled, knowing he had taken her advice. "And what is wrong with your ear, Sir?" "I can't piss out of it," the man replied. > > > The Waiting Room erupted in laughter. >

Wanna see my driving record? How about yours?
grease monkey replied to MrMeanGreen's topic in Dumpster
Wow, Anthony you are a bad driver, luckily you know how to work the system otherwise you'd be walking to work now. I however have a clean record. Meaning that I am a good driver. so.... :p :p :p -
If working over time is part of the job decriprion than the Dr. did just what he said he would do at the time of hire. The fact is that the bitch did not want to work extra and be a part of the team, more so she went about it in an inapproate way. So he had to terminate her ass. End of story. It's unfortunate that her and her husband got so irate over over a situation that could easily have been avoided if at the time of hire she'd have said, "oh, well my husband is an asshole and does not want me to work ANY over time, so thats just out of the question" The Dr. did what was needed and, unfortunately sometimes you run into people that just can not handle that. Sadly some people are simply to ignorant to handle the fact that they fucked up really bad and in turn fucked them selves out of a decent job. That is all, no more or no less.

That sucks, and for the record, you had every right to be upset. You should have beaten the shit out of her for being a dumb bitch.

I think a limited slip would benefit you better than locker in the application you're looking for. Locker's are mainly used in offroading applications. For the type of stuff you do with your truck, I honestly think a limited slip diff. is going to be your friend. And yes, it would be a GREAT improvement over the open diff.

ha, I always thought that do whatever the hell you want meant she'd be pissed but would get over it, guess I was wrong too.....

Possiably Maaco?? I know when I was at the used car lot we had them do some stuff for us, it wasnt the greatest work, but it was cheap and the cars looked better than they did before they were sent there....

you need to get an ossocillo (sp) scope and see if the sensor on the the distributor is functioning normally, No I unfortuneatley do not have one, you may be able to use the mt2500 scan tool and see if the computer is reading the rpm, if it not, then you need to find out why......
-
you probally have air in the system, air is not condensable, meaning is does not work as a refrigerant. the autozone cans are "ok" if you have at least some refrigerant left in the vehicle. Modern a/c systems are charged by weight, not by looking at a gage, I'd recomend that you have the system professionally evacuated, and charged. another thing to look at is to make sure that the fan is running when you turn on the a/c, the condensor needs air flow at all times for the a/c to work properly. Also, you really don't wnat any moisture (water) of any kind mixing with the refrigerant, if it does it makes hydroflouric acid, and that WILL destroy the a/c system from the inside out. Hope this has helped.

E46 BMW M3 Possiable clutch issues....
grease monkey replied to grease monkey's topic in Tech and Tips
MAG just put a friggin clutch in it. It just seems really stupid me, it a fucking 55-60K car, and the goddamned clutch is causeing all these problems. I did some research and found that the clutch is a self adjusting unit. Why would they use that in a car that is so scrutinized over??? The normal clutch units work just fine, why fuck with it!?!?!? I'm sure that the problems are being caused by this over-engineered piece of shit clutch. And of course BMW is probally not going to want to fix it correctly, they are going to want to replace shit, with more shit. what a fucking joke. I am VERY dissappionted. Honestly, how much money do you need to spend to get a decently engineered machine??? What a bunch of fucking morons. -
Does anyone know if these have a "foreward adjusting" clutch like the LS1's???? My neighbor who is like a 2nd mother to me owns a 2006 M3 with a 6 speed manual transmission. And has been having a lot of trouble out of it. At first the transmission felt like it was binding between gears, and was difficult to shift. Then she was driving one day and clutch was smoking and the car was VERY difficult to shift. Took to BMW cause it's still under warrenty and they replaced the cluch disk, pressure plate, throwout bering and the flywheel. Car was just fine for a couple of days and now it's starting to act up again. She's afraid to take it back to the dealer at this point because when the car was originally acting up, they said it was fine. The only time they did anything when the fucking thing went completely to shit. I drove a car a little this evening and can verify all of her complaints. As well as when under full load at redline I was unable to go from 2nd gear to 3rd. The shifter simply would not move into 3rd gear until the rpms were lower and then it clunked, and felt like it was binding. This is not an intermittent problem either as I could feel it each time I shifted. 4 to 5 and 5 to 6 seem to do alright, but theres still a little resistence in the shifter. I'm very confident in my driving as well as hers, so do not believe that the problem is with the way the vehicle is being driven. I believe it to be related to the clutch assyembly, and if it is in fact a "foreward adjusting" unit I feel that it may be malfunctioning. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rick

that dog was probally thinking what the fuck is going on here???!!!?!?!?

sand blasting would work i think, not too sure how the alloy would handle it. are they factory wheels or aftermarket?? I think factory would probally handle better. air ctaft stripper would problly work as well, most or all aircraft is made of aluminumn, and if it works on that w/out fucking it up it should work on the alloy wheels.... just my thoughts, I have never tried either of those.....
