The best way to get them out is get it to operating temp. Back the plugs off one turn only. Then soak them with a decarbenizing agent. Let it set for an hour then they all come out with out breaking.

Then you can have some room to finish that car of yours!

Check craigs list... There are some people hurting for money. You could get the basics for a fraction of the cost. Now the most important part, if anything breaks replace it with a high quality tool (snap on, mac, matco).

The best advice is get the basics.... Set up a budget on how much you can pay the tool man a week. Buy only what you need then what is cool. As long as you work on car, trucks or what ever you will never be done buying tools.
