  1. Not going to college had nothing to do with motivation. I didn't have mommy and daddy to pay my way. I went to college but paying my bills became more important than paying for college, so I didn't finish.

And if I only made 35K for 9 months, I'd be pissed.

Well mommy and daddy didn't pay my way, so I started off with a scholarship, then I got a full time job with tuition reimbursement, then I sued my daddy for back child support, then my mother got a different job that paid for my tuition. Man that was a lot of work. Some would say "Where there's a Will, there's a way".

then you would have made the wrong career choice. The point is you like working on trains and the reward (salary) is mutually agreeable to you and your employer.

I am not a teacher, but through the miracle of the internet I can find out what they make. Next I can find out what I need to do to become a teacher. Finally I can decide if the reward (salary) is worth the work to become a teacher.

The above example can be applied to many careers.

  2. I'm sorry, but I hope this shit isn't mocking anything. Thats ^^^ the whole goddamn point. I thought the point of healthcare was to take care of people?

There are plenty of volunteer oppurtunitites at the Ohio State University Medical Center, if you want to send me your contact information I will have some get a hold of you this afternoon

  3. That's $700/week. Not bad money for a first year anything in my opinion.

Yeah but you have to work nine months a year, get those holidays off, spring break, winter break, STRS, no social security tax, the list goes on and on. The average teacher in Ohio only makes ~$57k

  4. I see your point regarding 'commitment' but it still doesn't take 4 years to learn a trade that will bring money. My wife consistently states that she should have gone to a 'technical school' and saved herself 4 years and tens of thousands of dollars. Nothing she learned in college is anything she couldn't have taught herself by reading and researching on her own. She just paid some popped collared douche bag to read it to her' date=' instead.[/quote']

Until you get in the door for an interview, we are all white paper with black ink on it. You could be the smartest person in the entire world but I am not going to find out because I am going to throw your resume in the trash. That expensive piece of paper helps you "get in the door" after that it doesn't mean shit. There was a time when you would work for the same company for thirty years then retire, but that time is gone. Chances are your wife will work for several different companies during her career. When her resume is 1 of 200 and they start filing all of the resumes of people without college degrees in the "round file cabinet" she will be glad she went to college.

Yes, many people piss away the oppurtunities that a college education provides. One walk through any university and you will see people that traveled half way around the world for the opportunity often leaving friends and family behind.

  5. First of all the difference between a college graduate and a non college graduate is, the college graduate had the motivation to spend four (or more) years and lots of money to better themselves and the non-college graduate did not. So with that being said a potential employer would have better chances with the college educated person. Why do employers want ex-military? Not because they can blow shit up or kill people, very few jobs require those skills, but because they have proven that they can commit themselves to a task.

Secondly teachers need to stop bitching about how much money they don't make. First year teachers in Pickerington make about 35K, not bad for nine months of work.

  6. If it gets hot then it is passing a lot of current [amps].

    This is bad.

What it means is that there is a short somewhere along the wire.

If the stator connect to the regulator, (which it has to,just don't know how it's wired) a shorted regulator sounds very possible.

Regulators in theory have three wires. (Never seen a GSXR so yours may be different)

    1 ground

    2 battery

    3 alternator

Disconnect the regulator from the wiring harness so you are only measuring it, not the rest of the wiring harness.

An resistance (OHM) Meter connected from ground to either of the other wires should have a high reading, several thousand ohms. Even if you reverse the meters wires you should still have a high reading.

If you have a low reading the regulator is a suspect for that short you are looking for.

I am not sure on his bike but there should be 3 wires coming out of the stator and 5 wires out of the rectifier/regulator. The three wires coming out of the stator are AC and the Rectifier/regulator has a 12v+ a ground and the three from the stator

  7. i'll be at the track this weekend. camping and lake tomoro, ride sunday. this stress is no bueno right before what should be a fantabulous weekend. oh wait, thats right, I CANT FUCKING GO IF I HAVE NO MONEY!! grr, more stress

I got xanax and valium, they always help me with stress

  8. Didnt get PAID??? WHAT THE FUCK!?!??! Oh HELL NAWL. I would have to start taking office equipment out that bitch!! Do they have any catalytic converters in the storeroom?? They would have to give me my damn money one way or a-got-dam-nother.

Call me if you need me to come down there with my truck... fill that bitch up with tools, parts, somethin'... their crooked office manger is one big ball of NOT YOUR PROBLEM. Tell 'em AY.. a sista gotsta get PAID.

See.. y'all done brought the ghetto out in me... *cracks whip* BACK, Boonkiesha, BACK!! Get in your cage!

you're like the incredible hulk. Without the whole turning green part

  9. what if the majority of the cars went to rich bastards who traded in their gas guzzling SUV's LOL. I'm not sure what the gvt is thinking by pushing more fuel efficient vehicles, because essentially they're going to lose tax revenue from fuel consumption and have to increase the taxes on fuel thus raising the price of gas and making the whole thing a wash for the consumer. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for reducing carbon footprint, getting off foreign oil... but I'm not sure if this is the right sol'n.

in theory reducing consumption would reduce gas prices, therefore a tax increase could be implemented without financially affecting the end user

  10. As a wise man once said "messing with my money is like messing with my emotions"

Like IP said the owner of the dealership can write personal checks to the employees and "reimburse" himself when he gets everything worked out. Having money stolen is an issue that shouldn't happen when exercising Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This is the owners problem not yours and is a risk of running an inefficient business

  11. This program did not stimulate the automobile industry there were approx 250,000 cars sold to exhaust the $1 billion program. At best dealers are no longer sitting on excess inventory. Although I am tired of tax dollars pissed away , if I had to choose between the money going to the rich or poor, I would rather see it go to the "less fortunate".

Now that the hoods are full of new cars maybe its residents will be less inclined to fuck with other peoples cars

  12. :nono:

Get healed up quick' date=' brother. Sorry to hear about your ride, but I'm very relieved that you're alive and almost kicking. You'll be fixed up in no time at all.

[rant']...about the insurance.. it's a good thing we have laws in place that require people to drive with insurance. Also, the fact that it's illegal to drive without a license surely was helpful in this situation.[/rant]

yeah I am sure their state minimum safe auto insurance will cover at least the ambulance ride and the first 15 minutes in the hospital
