Ok so sick car
Horrible stereo
So does anyone still make flip up screen head units anymore and does anyone have a favorite?
So new head unit, amp, components and sub. Plus a tune and a short shifter. Every trim piece is ridiculously expensive so chopping shit up isn't an option and because the cabin is pretty load anyways there is no need to go for audiophile components.
Recommendations?
Earache is going to help making this

Yeah pretty sure my family doesn't like me having a bike. My dad tonight goes "oh Jen sorry I opened this. It's you application to the American Motorcycle Association.......oh sorry it slipped" as he throws it into the fire. My brothers both laughed and gave him a high five.
Well at least you found out your family sucks while you are still young. Next time take home a black guy

You know Christmas isn't until tomorrow.

The car is missing because the fuel pressure is too low and running lean. Those crappy connectors should be readily available

Are the shows fully integrated or just in the same facility? I really don't want to intermingle with the regular people.

I called everywhere i could thing of including some pawn stores. I also checked for twinkies too while I was wasting their time

As I mentioned before, I place most of the blame for events like this on the media. In search for a plausable explanation, it occured to me that the we have all (or many of us) seen this type of event before.
Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars 3 slaughters an entire school of very yound Jedi Knights. This scene was so distrubing to me I left the theatre and sent a letter to the studio condemming them for going too far.
The murder is of the right age to have been influenced by this movie and with his temperment, I don't believe that it would be too much of a stretch for him to associate with a disgruntled teenage Anakin.
In my search to determine which SW movie (3) had this scene, I came across this article which suggests that I am not alone. Lots of theories but this is definetly not out of the realm of reason and should be a very strong causal link between violence and media.
You blame George Lucas. I blame the guy pulling the trigger. Close enough

and I still dont have money for this. Hence the does anyone have a place I can crash?
I can make that happen, however "gas, cash or ass" does apply.

Whatever. I've been a jap car fanboy most of my life. Since they don't make anything fun anymore I bought a Mustang sight unseen based on performance per dollar alone with low expectations for quality. I've been very impressed so far and have no regrets. If I ever replace my Tundra it will probably be with a Ford. Just sayin'.
Congrats on your v6 mustang

I love all the ford and Hyundai guys with their "they used to make shitty cars but that was like 5 years ago" excuse. I would rather just buy a car from a company that has a long history of quality
-
You do know ford is the leading the automobile industry correct? I think you need to forget about the 90's and look at the quality of the last 10 years.. It's sad that I'm a wrench for ford and I drive a ford.. Maybe, nah, ill keep my mouth shut.
I have seen more than enough beat to shit rusty fords come through the auction to think they may be worth a shit. If you ever get the opportunity to ride in a nice car you might change your opinion

Agree
If you don't know what he is talking about please refer to exhibit A.

God damn I am sex on wheels in those pics!

I would keep the painkillers, not for the emergency, but for when you are sore after a long day
-
I would say abrasive cutoff tools. So I looked it up.
Abrasive wheels cut clean, but note that there is quite a bit of dust
-
I've had this concern as well I mean I can't take fifteen people in the truck. It's not a cure all solution just another option depends on how you look at it I guess.
This would work for longer distances where an airport was close. Hauling 10 bikes to Colorado would be more apprepriate. Unless you were pulling with a party bus and we could do it up on the way down

is an Alaskan Trust a real thing or you just joking? I ask as I have never heard of it
A penny saved is a penny earned. That guy paid 0 in sales tax on that vehicle.
I'm rocking dealer plates on my Porsche for now and if I register the car it will be with Alaskan plates. There are a couple cars in the family's secret garage with Alaskan plates
-
1. set up an alaskan trust.
2.
3. Profit

when I worked in dearborn i would always see weird cars with data logging equipment driving down the highway

Index fund, reinvest dividends and sell covered calls on your holdings.
Maybe try xlu.

Are you still looking? It took me about 30 days to find my cayenne turbo. There are tons of Audi q7's at the manheim auctions. I didn't look much at touregs cause I wasn't considering one but they there should be some on OVE. Pm me what you are looking for and I can check.

Dropped my car off a wheel medic and they took car of everything in just a couple of days
-
Then can we continue the other Supra talk?
My dad worked with a woman who went to ridiculous lengths to get a red turbo with a manual... That car was shipped all over the damn country to get to her.
I'll have to ask him if she still has it. She was one of those people who had a great job, no kids, and a husband making at least as much as she did, but they NEVER had any money.
Used to piss my dad off beyond belief, and I finally understand why now that I'm (technically) an adult. My dad was busting ass, making in the low 80k range to support 4 kids and a mortgage, and this woman made more than him, PLUS her husband's income, and was in credit-debt. She lacked all semblance of fiscal responsibility, but she got a new Supra Turbo while his car at the time was a Probe GT (which was a fun car, but obviously not in the same class...)
Some people choose kids and some choose cars. Looks can be deceiving when it comes to people's finances.
-
It looks like this white one is about gone. Thanks for the bumps and good conversation. I'll have some more good stuff soon unless someone wants to buy my cayenne turbo.
-
Tough call. The STI should be reliable on the street, but then why pay for all the trick stuff? I'd rather have the new car, but didn't like the WRX.
Is it stock? If so I might be able to hang.
Just a tune

It is that bad stock.
