  1. The next couple months is a scary time for motorcycle riders. I hate reading about all the accidents
  2. This kid is laid back and easy going. I did a dyno tune on his GTO for him last fall. The whole time I was tuning the car we were talking motorcycles. LOL
  3. This is for you or someone you bring with you to change out the jets. I will run the bike after each jet change to get A/F readings.
  4. Custom Maps - $200.00 Includes all bikes where either a Bazzaz or Power Commander is used. Baseline including 3 pulls with a/f - $40.00 Bring you and a friend at the same time and it will be $60.00 for the pair. Hour of dyno time which includes unlimited runs - $60.00 (For one bike only ) Perfect for those wanting to work on their own bikes such as changing out jets or troubleshooting a problem on the bike. After looking at other shops and talking with other customers I am going to raise my tunes to $250.00 for non OR members. As long as you are a member of this forum it will be $200.00. Contact me through a PM/Email/Cell to schedule an appointment.
  5. I will give Bazzaz a call and see what they say. Dynojet does not offer that good of pricing to me on the PC's. My guess is because I did not buy their bike dyno nor do I buy a 100 of them at a time. I know I have paid more for PC's buying them directly from Dyno Jet then what you guys have bought them for online.
  6. I have a 2006 GSXR 600 that I will be doing a tune on and want go with Bazzaz over the PC so I can control both sets of injectors. Please advise.
  7. Posted from another thread I made about a year ago. "Mail Order" or "Canned" Tunes are not a guaranteed tuning solution for your motorcycle. You can take 10 of same make and model of with the same modifications and each tune will be a little different to get the same results. The advantages of a custom tune allow you to both maximize the peformance of your motorcycle while maintaining excellent ridability and longevity to your motorcycle's engine. We do not tune just for wot and max power. Our custom maps include changes to all rpm's and throttle positions. A number of our customers are amazed at the difference in their motorcyle after a custom tune. A custom map usually takes 1-2 hours. The number of pulls varies. What makes DTM different from other bike shops Keep in mind when doing a custom map you are not just doing pulls at WOT. To do complete map I start at 100% and work backwards. Pulls are made at 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%, 10%, 5%, 2%, 0% covering as much of the rpm range as possible. Air/Fuel ratio targets are as follows (Percentages are Throttle Positions) 12.8 to 13.0 @ 100%, 80%, 60% 13.5 @ 40% 14.0 @ 20% 14.7 @ 10%, 5%, 2%, 0%. It has been my experience that these targets offer the best of everything including max power, throttle response, engine longevity, fuel economy. I would like to add one more thing. I am sure there are good shops that know how to correctly tune a bike. With that comes a cost that is typically close to double what I charge for a custom map. My back ground in Automotive Tuning has given me the experience and knowledge to provide custom tuning for bikes that I will put up against any shop. Please proceed with this thread. __________________

Thanks for your patience Tim. Let me know how it runs after you get to ride.
  11. Wish I could find a deal like this on a 600.
  12. Do you mind me asking what you gave for it?
  13. I want to see it wheelie.

    Scam?

  15. I have been looking online trying to find 08 and 09 model year sport bikes. No particular brand. Any idea how one should go about searching online for left over models?
  16. 2005 GSXR 750. 15,500 miles. From what I recall the bike is in very good condition. Bike was repaired after getting the salvage title. What is this bike worth?
  17. Looks like I better get to get to learning
  18. I think I better get a 600 if I am going to try that. I do not think I would make it around the track once with or without a turbo. LOL
  19. GSXR 1000 Turbo Kit Click on the link and give me your thoughts.
  20. Sig Worthy Quote. This has been an extremely slow winter for me. The customer wanted to do Sunday. Problem is I already have two other tunes plus family plans in the evening. When he told me noon on sat would work I could not say no. It is things like this why I am not out to many OR events. I am afraid to tell someone no. You never know when they will change their mind or go elsewhere for work. Make it while you can.
  21. I wanted to make it in a bad way. However I took a call at 10:00pm tonight for a mustang wanting a tune at noon tomorrow. Can not turn down a $500.00 tune after having such a slow winter. Maybe next time.
  22. If I have no dyno work to do I will be there. I am spending my birthday sunday tuning all day.
  23. I can only imaging how many of us will be without power by morning. Transformers popping left and right around me.
