I'm helping a racer sale his 2004 Honda NSR50... this is a stock bike, only raced it 3 times with the OYL here in Ohio (Circleville's track), runs great. Great bike for our new F3 class (see rules here... http://www.ohioysr.org/Rulebook2008.doc ) Fun bike, racing is SUPER CHEAP and tons of fun!!! OYL's racing season just started, lots of racing left!!! Bike is located in Mt. Vernon, but this person works in Columbus so could meet up if interested. Contact - Gregg at coe344@yahoo.com No pic's yet, but it looks something like this...

Yeah, that is true! A duel purpose bike is nice to have if you like to ride dirt and pavement! I'm not sure on this, but most of the mini-tards you'll have to get different wheels or aftermarket ones to fit the TT92's or 12" tires?? Don't quote me on that, as I don't have one, but that is what I hear around the pits.. And the number of mini-tards and NSR's are about the same right now. That pic was taken last year and that was in our F1 class, fastest bike class. We have a bunch of new NSR owners and they are starting to come out the woodwork, some nice KX65's and KTM's starting to come out as well! It is a nice mix of mini-tards and GP spec bikes out there. We have a new class this year just for the KLX, DRZ's and XR100's that will all do very well in.. it is called F3. We also have an exhibition class for the Motard 4 strokes (limited to 200cc for air cooled 4's and 150cc for all liquid cooled 4's). If you want to see if your bike fits in any of the rules, check out the 2008 rule book here.. http://www.ohioysr.org/Rulebook2008.doc

Next round is at Circleville Raceway this Sunday, May 11th (mothers day). You can view a short onboard video I posted above on Circleville's track to see what it is all about. For more info or if you want to race, check out the website or just contact me!

Shoot, at that price I should take my old 01 R6 to ya Brian... it needs jetted or shims BAD!

I live in Blacklick, off Waggoner Road north of E. Borad St and love it. Lots going on around the area, close shopping and CMH isn't far! I never go down E. Broad St unless it is real early or late. You tend to find the short cuts around E. Broad St real fast! Taylor to Taylor Station Rd, exits right at 270! I lived in Westerville most my life, so I would have to say D'Ville would be another good option, but the taxes are silly high their now. Blacklick is still under C-bus taxes and water!

Don't know... don't know much about them! Short onboard video from Circleville Raceway today during practice... while braking in my motor, not going above 10k RPM... 4th and last heat cycle. And here is onboard video from BeaveRun last year during practice...

BTW, I'm going down to Circleville's track tomorrow to brake in the motor... Good time to check out the bikes... If you can't make it Thursday, then Saturday there will be a few OYL racers out on the track with some sick bikes running practice! Free to watch practice, but when you get a bike it is only $15 all day to run on the track! Try that anywhere else!!!

Join our forum at http://miniroadracers.informe.com/ It is running slow right now due to the forum provider I'm going thru is having server problems right now... But, you'll be able to ask questions there. But, do you want a motard style bike or GP style bike?? If you want a GP roadracing mini, I would say get a NSR50... You would be able to race in 3 classes (2 of them where the bike would be competitive). Also, the NSR50 is a great bike, HRC Honda made them so they are race only! LOTS of upgrades for the bike, I'm running a 65cc big bore kit, Arrow exhaust and 24mm round slide carb, and it gets up and goes! I race in 2 classes where the bike is running 1st, 2nd and 3rd all the time! If you've got the coin and want a 4 stroke, get a NSF100. Or buy a NSR50, take the 2 stroke 50cc motor out and sale it, use that money to get a XR100 motor to put into the NSR frame. That is all Honda did, slap a XR100 motor into a NSR frame and it is good to go. Just a few pic's for ya... The NSR comes looking like this, brand new and stock! Mine now looks like this... A NSF looks like this... Again XR100 motor, in NSR frame

Lizard is right... it is a GP shift thing! I have found myself doing that on a friends old bike with GP shift. When I was on the track, I wasn't use to it, and I had to get my foot out from under the shifter, easy to just adjust your foot and place it where it needs to be real quick!
-
HAHAHA, now that is funny!
-
I'll call ya tomorrow Jimmy! I NEED that transponder for the 1st race!!
-
Come out man, we bumped up the 2 stroke cc limits in F1 and F2, as well as the 4 stroke cc limits! F3 is a new class that will be fun! Should help bring in some new riders!

I'm a firefighter and have our IAFF Union sticker on the back of my truck and my wife's SUV... with that said, it has gotten me out of a few tickets. I'm 30yrs old and have 0 tickets. A lot of it has to do with me not going fast, but a few times I was caught going a few mph over the posted speed limit. Also knowing a lot of cops helps too! Two years ago was the last time I was pulled over in my pickup truck. Going 52 in a 35, the cop came up acting like a dick and asked for all my info, giving me the 3rd degree... I thought I was getting my 1st ticket for sure. About 5 min later (might of not been that long) he came back and said, I think I let ya sweat it out long enough... I was like "huh". He said he always messes with firefighters and likes to make them think they are getting a ticket. Told me to slow it down, that I'm not responding in a fire truck. I was happy and ended up talking to the guy for a little bit. Trooper on Rt 35 pulled me over when I was active duty in the military, coming home on leave... Lucky for me, this trooper just got out of the military and was in a good mood. Ended up talking to him about firefighters and cops for a little bit. They are not all out there to get ya, but like stated before, pulling wheelies and doing stupid shit on the street will get ya a ticket fast!

We race the full Wilson course.. we just do it backwards from the way the kart guys go. That might be why it looks different?? I say get rid of that kart and jump on a NSR!!! It will blow your mind how much fun it really is, and CHEAP too! The most fun I've had for under $50 -

You need to come back out and race with us Rocky.. this season is looking like it is going to be a good one so far! OYL's 2008 Racing schedule is up at www.ohioysr.org -
Are you ready for racing yet?? If not, you will be after watching this 7min video of my teammate Jordan Reid and I out at Beaverun (Sept 07) doing a little practice on our NSR50's! Short video of Jordan and I warming up the tires and then getting a few faster laps in at the end of the video... nothing too crazy, but fun to watch when it is cold outside! Click here to watch it..
