Yeah I dont like animals to suffer either. Its upsetting to me when I dont have a clean kill and DRT. At least this dog didnt suffer long and probably never even realized what happened. The 30' he ran through the field looked looked like someone dragging a blood soaked mop. I should have taken a pic of it.

He popped up in front of us real quick and I shot him on on the trot. It got him in the bottom of the lungs and liver. and basically opened his entire underside up from entry point all the way out the underside. He sprinted dragged organs for about 30ft before piling up. A 162 grain amax at almost 3100fps is like a can opener. There are pretty nasty

It will be nice to have another outdoors sporting retailer. It may hurt vances a bit just on gun sales depending on prices but I doubt it. I think Gander will take a bigger hit but it may also help to drive prices down a bit. I dont think it will affect Dicks all that much as they are more sporting oriented and cabelas has more of a focus on hunting/fishing and some camping.

Ive shot 1 mile with 10X. You'll be fine and probably be surprised at what magnification scope you can use vs what you think you need.

I was going to do the ELR (Extreme Long Range) match this weekend (1000-2350 yards) but Im going to coyote hunt instead. I would suggest taking your M1 to the range and sighting it in then heading out to TVP to get learn the rifle, get DOPE and then shoot the short course match (<600 yards) with irons or if you scope it, the regular matches (175-1165 yards).

Get the machine from home depot and blow the atticat insulation. It wont settle like the cellulose insulation will.

I replaced the entire HVAC on the house i just bought and its 2300 sq ft without the basement. My house is all electric! Ill leave this to grapesmuggler but the one thing I will say is that its not always the size of the unit you get. If your ducting is routed shitty, it wont matter if you have a 1 or 4 ton unit since the airflow "just wont flow" well.

The moving decoys can definitely help catch their eye but they are not something you have to have. Lots of people are successful without them.

From every bit of reading Ive done, Youll be happy with almost any of the Fox Pro Callers. It really depends on what your looking to spend and the options you can want or can live with/without. There is a pretty good suggestions tool on their page. I chose the Scorpion because of its compact size and functions. On my way home from the gym, I pulled off on a side road, cranked up the volume and fired off the coyote locator sounds. Ill be damned but about 3 min later, I could hear dogs/yotes yipping back off in the distance.. This should be fun

Yeah no suppressed hunting of any kind in Ohio. Im about to send a letter as other states are starting to wise up that suppressors are just hearing protection for the hunter.

Well recently Ive been hearing coyotes out by the house and also saw them about 1 mile from the house on the way to work. So I decided it was time to start yote hunting out there. I ordered a Fox Pro Electronic caller and it arrived today so I cant wait to try it out. I plan on going after yotes, crows, and anything else that decides to come and inspect the noise. Should be fun.. Carry on.
