  1. Ive still got a Nylon 66. It was my dads and I still shoot the snot out of it.
  2. Paint is cheap, Let me know if you wanted it painted and ill direct you.
  3. Nice.. the 223 Wylde shoots well. Two people on here have the same chambering in a 24" barrel and no real issues out to 800yards I havent played with the 1-4pst's although I kinda want one. what a surprise right
  4. Return your camera, it has issues.
  5. Yeah but the argument could be easily made that there were not proper precautions in place to prevent that. Just saying.
  6. I'll have some prototype-preprod release CNC machined solid copper bullets for the .284 pretty soon. They are bad ass ballistically not to mention they will still basically punch holes through anything that is not military grade Armor plate at distance. Would probably still punch through or half way through 1/2" AR500 plate under 450 yards.

I have a grinder and do my own grinding anyway. I would think ground meat and the jerky cannon would make for a more enjoyable jerky anyway. Allot of times when its not ground, it can be WAY too chewy. I could probably do this now with my grinder and sausage stuffer and a modified nozzle.
  8. Im the same as Brown. I cant think of any direct Karma other than I trying to be nice to people and helping wherever I can. Ive been very fortunate with life, jobs, family, etc. If this constitutes an valid entry and I win, no need to contact me, just donate it to Habitat for Humanity or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. No need to donate it in my name, anonymous or use your own name which is more fitting. Great gesture.
  9. Domestic or wild issues? 470yrds is a stones throw, no problem there. Yeah my GF has no idea what I spent on my new .284..

you damn Hoyt guys.. Last time I crono'd I think I was getting 277fps with 420grain arrow. My weight may be a bit off. 36-37yrds was a bit longer of a shot then I was expecting so I was happy I didnt wound/miss him. I do practice at that distance but I still shot a bit high due to dropping my forward arm while shooting from the stand. I typically climb to 25-30ft so Im up there. . I think I will practice shooting some from my garage roof so I get used to tilting at the hips instead of dropping my arm. Either way, he made the trip to the freezer so Im happy. He was a long bugger also so I got some really nice backstraps out of him.

Yup, looking at my call log, it took almost 8 min to tag it in over the phone.
  12. Hunting What and where? This will depend on the barrel type, stock, weight, etc, As Im sure you already know, you cant hunt deer in ohio with a high powered rifle. Good scope? What distances do you plan on shooting out too? Im probably not going to be much use to you without some very specific details for usage. I can point out rifles from $550-$4500 so without specifics, Im going to bow out of this thread.
  13. Please pack both those up and send to me stat!

You obviously missed the point about me shooting for food. I really dont care about the rack. And FYI, I actually did shoot a button buck a few years ago. Like I said, food.. If you need an animal with a big rack, feel free to check out the Kudu and Impala I shot in South Africa back in August.
