Bullshit. your not going to spin the jacket off. It may cause accuracy issues in lighter bullets but it wont destroy them. It handles 55gr - 77-80 gr just fine.

Not for reading.. Reading all the time on such small devices is a pain in the ass. I have the kindle app on my android which has a larger screen then the iphone and its still not pleasant to read on.

To be 100% honest. I havent gotten to use them but I played with them at SHOT show last year and they were nice. I would have to rely on Beenstrings opinion as he has used them and is sponsored by Vortex Optics. My personal opinion is that reddots are nice but I prefer something which is more of a scope. The 1-4x are perfect because you get the same view as a reddot on 1X but can zoom the scope to 4x if you want/need it. The straight magnification reddots/eo-tech/ACOG have their place in a more for close quarters combat type situation or 3gun competition setting. If you want precision shooting, then I like the scopes. They are small scopes, not like your typical rifle scope. Let me find a pic or2.

+1 to everything said about Vortex. Their PST and Razor lines are top notch. I would take a PST 1-4 or Razor 1-4 over an ACOG.

Fairly straightforward question related to flooring support. My understanding is that code says 40lbs sq/ft with a safety factor of 1.5-2 is what a residential floor is required to support. If you were going to have a load that only traversed 2 joists (2x10 16ft span, Load @ approximately 6-8ft from a support point for the joist) How many additional floor joists would you add to support approximately 180-200lbs sq/ft. I was planning on: Doubling up 1 of the joists for the entire 16ft span Adding a double joist between 2 existing joists which would be in the center of the load. Double up another joist for approximately 12ft of the span and tying them off together. Then a screw jack under the double joist spanning the 16ft span. Thoughts? Debating on how large of an aquarium would be safe depending on weight.

They already apologized and said it wasnt intentional. However they did not say whether or not they were going to change the design. While I can understand the feelings towards the design, I also think we need to step back and look at it for what it really is and not what it may represent to some. I think our country has become way to entangled with trying to control and make everything politically correct which has actually resulted in more of a divide amongst the population.
