  1. Ill be up there next week.. I wonder if I can pick it up for free.
  2. I like his "knife holder" hahahah
  3. None of those planes were inverted..
  4. No grass strip.. seriously?? Ive got more time on grass then I do pavement. Its a blast. Especially in a tailwheel like a cub.
  5. I was coming back from lunch watching all the people walking by the office to the game. Then it started snowing and I stood in the conference room window watching them all leave.. Kinda funny for those of us not attending and just watching.
  6. What exactly doesnt it like? Some of the MarkIII's got sent out with out of spec parts. I sent mine back 2x before they got the all the right parts replaced. Now it eats anything. Just something to think about.
  7. Now that makes more sense.. Now you see my confusion when he said pre86, SOT required, can keep after. No reason to buy one of those when you can get a demo letter version for cheap.
  8. http://www.stewartsaircraft.net/ I would be more than happy to fly down there with you. Easy to get to and landing on a short grass strip.. lotsa fun. Also when landing you have to come in over the road and power lines and drop er down. Youll get good at short and soft field take offs and landings quick.
  9. Ive got shitloads of time in that exact cub.. Be prepared to hand prop it to start and forget about radios - No electrical system. Most fun little plane to fly. Also, not sure if they still have it but Im sure they do, they have a Citabria and will do aerobatics training if your interested. Ive got a few hours in that guy as well. Aerobatics training makes you soooooo much more comfortable in a planes capabilities. I will never forget landing that thing and my instructor saying "Stick all the way back to the sack" Those that have flown a stick, tailwheel will understand this.
  10. Something isnt quite right... if it were a dealer sample it shouldnt be 7800 unless he is just charging out the ass.. Dealer demo letter pieces are generally reasonable in price. And he said you could keep it when your SOT expired which is also false. Not to mention if its a pre86 registered then its a normal tax stamp process. I ran an event about 2 weeks ago where we dumped about 1500 rounds through an Uzi and it ran like a champ. Pretty fun little setup.
  11. I wouldnt go that far. Owning and having access to use are 2 very different things.
  12. Not trying to give you a hard time but dont make assumptions. Its funny to me because you assume that youre the only one with access to cool firearms. And your comment "So much to say, so little Im allowed to say" leads me to believe they firearms are not yours, not legally registered or you just want people to think your a super secret cool guy.
  13. NO.. Buy a used one from someone and youll still be lucky if you only spend 500 just for the rifle.
  14. hahah funny guy.. doubt it.
  15. Im down for being a safety pilot. I need to go renew my medical and take my BFR anyway.
  16. Congrats.. Glad to hear you didnt crash. Now go get wasted and laid.
  17. Pics and I shall give my honest opinion.
  18. I tend to classify things more as useful with purpose, useless/no purpose, accurate, reliable, not accurate, not reliable. My biggest thing is accuracy & reliability, if you cant hit anything with it then it doesn't serve a purpose in my opinion. Now Im not talking .5" groups at 100yards or anything but Ive seen some of these pistols/rifles, etc, that wont shoot a 6 inch group at 25 yards.. That is a POS to me.
  19. That falls into the "dumb category" Not because of the mag but because of the weeee-tarded light setup.
  20. Well I could roll pieces of human feces into balls and play with those also but I choose not to play with shit. Same concept.. I thought maybe you had a reason other than the looks. It just looks like a gansta made pos to me but that is just my personal opinion. I could be way off base. Its not that I wouldnt shoot it because of its looks although that is some of my reason but the other would be if it's actually safe. I just dont trust cheaply made firearms and that thing looks cheap to me.
