  1. That sucks.. But its always fun when you know your UPS guy by name. Funny thing is that the UPS guy that delivers to our office is the same one who delivers to my apt many times.
  2. EFF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you never get an AR............ Big Meanie
  3. Correct, Legal because you are technically pulling the trigger for each shot. There is no mechanical auto sear/trip in place tripping the trigger like in an auto
  4. Ive seen this posted before. I think its a stupid especially considering the cost and the fact that you can do it without this stock with a little practice. A few on here have seen me do it from the shoulder with a non modified AR. Holy shit did that guy just dump rounds into a steel plate with an AR from like 15 ft... WTF... Darwin Award Candidate right there.
  5. An adjustable objective has the yardage marks so that you have an easier starting point to focus the scope. It doesnt have anything to do with bullet placement on target. You must be getting old.
  6. Ive delt with them before and they are very easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.
  7. uhm.. I think Vances is actually running a sale on Glocks right now.
  8. I always zero at 100 but I know my drops and dial it or hold it for every range out past 1000 yards. The key is to know your drops at different distances and either dial for the adjustment or hold for it. Holding generally requires a scope which is designed for it. I.e a mil-dot or another advanced ranging reticle.
  9. Multi-caliber is becoming more standard since the lower doesnt determine the caliber while the chambering/barrel do. The rule is the caliber is to be marked on the barrel. A standard AR lower can be used for a barrel chambered in many different calibers.
  10. You need to be clear when you say what details are stamped and where. Some AR lowers are stamped "Multi-caliber". Then the barrel is stamped with the chambered caliber but if there is a front guard on it like all AR's have, you cant see the caliber marking on the barrel. Hopefully this helps. Its not always as simple as one may think.
  11. I dont know anything about anything.. Dont drag me into your world of shadyness.
  12. Yeah that sucks. I have a buddy I bought a Jewell Trigger from yesterday that is shipping it to me today. I will need to remove the bolt release on the trigger once it arrives since the new rifle will have a side bolt release. I called Jewel up yesterday and they said they would ship me 2 shorter replacement pins at zero cost and that they would be in the mail today. Gotta love good customer service.
  13. No worries. I figured as much.. All in good fun of spirited conversations.
  14. I ordered a shitload of stuff from MidwayUSA yesterday and it delivers tomorrow. I also ordered a shitload of things from PowderyValleyInc yesterday and it delivers on Tues next week.. Oh wait. this thread is about orders you havent received in a timely manner.. My Bad.. :)

    Gun Shows

To be honest Ive never had much luck at gun shows and dont go to them anymore unless Im just bored and want to entertain myself by laughing in someones face about their prices for some POS they are trying to sell.
  16. Ive heard a similar comment many times over about the 10/22. You really cant go wrong with them and they are a boatload of fun.

  18. I feel this thread is a fitting place for this guy.
  19. hahaha yep, Im old.. I used all of those. I remember when the 3.5" came out it was Amazing because you no longer had to worry about touching the actual media like you did with the 8" and 5.25"
  20. Speedytriple. Youre the one that is making a mountain out of a mole hill. The op asked for options and opinions and thats what he got. Yes he can go buy a $50 .22 and have fun with it or he can go buy a $200 model and have fun with it and have the ability to make changes down the road IF HE CHOOSES to. Options my friend Options. Its his choice, we are just explaining his future options because he doesnt have the experience while others on here do. From your standpoint, your current car/house/bike will last you the rest of your life because there will never be a need or a want to upgrade.. Do you still wear your underwear from 3rd grade? Im guessing no because you outgrew them.. Same concept. People are just educating him on ALL his possible options.
  21. 201mph in Jeans and tennis shoes.. Those guys are pretty smart..
